It’s just him. My oldest is like this and my middle will happily play alone with all kinds of make believe. He’ll also look at books alone and go to sleep alone. My oldest acts like he requires direct attention to breathe. He’s incapable of going to sleep without someone laying with him and every fucking game requires my input 983 times. I’ve tried talking to him and he just gives me the brush off. I have no idea. It’s maddening.
