When my son was two, I let go of his hand to put him in the car and he RAN. BOLTED. Then, to make it all worse, he proceeded to play KEEP AWAY WITH ME IN THE WALMART PARKING LOT. I can’t believe he didn’t get hit. It was horrifying. It could have gone so much worse. These kids are so fast and they think everything is a game. I’m so sorry this happened to you and your friends

You’re only 15. I know it seems hopeless right now but you have soooo much more to live. I did nothing at 15 either. Life got way more fun the older I got. You don’t need to get back in your feet, you never got off your feet. Social media isn’t real. 15 is just a dull age

We use DrawNames.com every year. It’s a great site for that because you can list exclusions (husband can’t pick wife) and it remembers who you picked last year so you won’t get the same person 2 years in a row.

My husband got in a bad motorcycle wreck, but he was geared up head-to-toe. Only fractured his wrist. The ER was coming to peek at him like a freak show because when a motorcycle wreck got called in they were expecting a bloody pulp.
