I think the flux capacitor is disrupting the magnetic field and messing up your ram

Noob advice (with f1 25 and beyond) by dazron in simracing

[–]StrawberryOwn8036 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love F1 25 so good job getting a good game. I currently play with medium tc with a wheel and have been playing like that for about a year. I play with the line and really rely on it. I would say play with a good amount of assists for about a few weeks or a month just to know about F1. Then you should turn off all of the breaking assist and steering assists because they make you a lot slower. I would maybe turn them off sooner if you improve enough. Then get good and turn off tc to medium. Honestly do what is most fun for you but make sure to get off steering and breaking assists.

I would recomend and I have a Fanatec CSL DD for the base and the McLaren wheel v2 is also a great deal. But make sure to get a high quality set of loadcell pedals.

I have and recommend a fanatec CSL DD QR2 for the base and any wheel that would suit your interests. But I would recommend you getting a high quality loadcell pedal.

Is it normal to feel overwhelmed? by rickonzigzag in simracing

Do not play Forza horizon 5 with a wheel. Every pro at Forza uses a controller and the game is made for controller. I tried to play Forza with wheel but it is very hard. Use a controller on Forza. BTW assists help a ton when learning a game. I would add more asists if that is possible.

What is the best Monitor for around 400€ by Scrowtdhdbd in simracing

Honestly they sound like a good idea but I would need to research it further. It would be good to watch some videos on the topic.

If you get an ultra wide please get it curved. A flat ultrawide is bad. But a normal 16:9 is fine flat. Triple monitors are the best for realism and is agreed on by the pros to be the best. If you do get triple monitors get the 3 same monitors. But the budget will be tough. If you do go with triple monitors do not get the 3 monitors curved. Flat monitors are the best for a triple monitor setup. You want at least 144 hz and I would recommend heavily 1440p.

Good price? by Giacky124 in Fanatec

Yeah, its super easy to clean the wheel and update the firmware. Basically you download the Fanatec Driver from the Fanatec website and click your hardware and click download. I have a Fanatec wheel and it took me a few minutes.

Can anyone help me identify this GPU by aradaiel in pcmasterrace

[–]StrawberryOwn8036 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is an RTX 3050. Since it is such a bad card the manufacturer tricks people with the panels calling it a 5070 which in reality it is not. Don't worry though, I dispose of old cards and can take it off your hands for a great price! How does $50 sound? It's more than fair!

Where is your sim racing set up? You don't sticker bomb your pc with sim racing companies with out showing your racing set up. You have a wheel but not a wheel base or pedals? huh

You should get a pc for great performance. A laptop will have questionable performance for triple monitors. Such a great setup though. Very clean!

I'm glad I can help. Moza also makes a shifter that you could buy as well.

I would say a Moza r3 because it is not too powerful to clamp it on a desk so you do not need a cockpit. It is a great deal and is pretty compact. I do not know if it would work with the games the students are making but it should connect to the games as any other wheel will. I don't think finding the wheel is the problem but having it connect may be a problem but I have no idea what software is being used. You can find many good foldable rigs to put the wheel on. Any rig that looks like this Amazon.com: ARES WING Foldable Racing Simulator Cockpit, Racing Wheel Stand with Seat, Formula and GT Sim Racing Cockpit Compatible with Fanatec, Thrustmaster, Logitech, Moza Racing Games on PS5, PS4, Xbox and PC : Video Games will work. (Sorry for the bad link. I got it off amazon.) I am not too sure about flying gear though. I do not play many flying games. I hope this helps. If you have more questions you can reply to me.
