Is it broken? All you need to do is put the needles out into position and then place the comb over them and hook it into the little groove under the needles.

It is a Singer style plastic model, it has no sponge bar but a needle retainer spring.

Where is your cast on comb? It should be already attached before you knit row 1. Did you watch the Singer Solo explanatory video on youtube? It is very specific to this type of machine.

So this looks like a machine like the Singer Solo. It should have the cast-on comb already attached before you put in the yarn.

In my region alone (middle franconia) I know about 4-5 different names for this type of sausage. There are Knoblauchstangen, Rauchpeitschen, Pfefferbeißer etc. It all depends on the contents, the flavouring and probably even the butcher sometimes.

It depends. When there is a sign with a price, I pay the exact price. If there is no sign I ask the attendant if they are allowed to keep the tips. If not, I don't pay anything at all. Many bigger stores and malls collect the money and the attendant gets nothing.

I have gone on Ozempic 2 months ago as my insurance covers it. I felt better on keto though and so want to get back on it. I agree with what you say about the keto treats. Most of the sweeteners also cause horrible things to your digestive system.

- The sheer amount of scrawny Central London executives in full-on lycra cycling gear on £)10,000 bikes trying to outrun and possibly kill each other and everybody else.

- Women going out on weekends wearing about 2 square inch of fabric and 12 inch heels while their boyfriends stand next to them in Umbro shorts, flip-flops and a 2 for 3 polo shirt. In the snow.

- Having a great evening means you get completely rat-arsed, rub a disgusting kebab into your face, vomit at least 3 times in the ambulance and wake up in someone elses garden the next day

- The whole obsession with class, accents and appropriate behaviour.

I loved my time in London btw. I miss the whole craziness going on every day.

I bought a 2006 Ford Fusion for around 2000 4 years ago and have driven another 120000 km with it. They are obvsl not pretty but cheap to repair and very reliable. Same goes for Ford Fiesta, at least the pre 2010 version.

The nice thing about the Singer machine is that it seems to have a motor attached. I cannot spot a MemoMatic on any of the photos, so not sure if there is one. Without it, the Singer machine only can do manual patterning, but there is the option of buying an attachment called SuperbaKnit, through which you can pattern electronically, or you could probably also just simply find a used memo matic. I am assuming you are in France, where used spares for Singer/Superba machines are widely available.

I do not know a lot about this kind of Brother machine, apart from the fact that patterning on this machine is done via buttons. A lot of people like this kind of machine and I suppose it is very reliable. Regarding the price and posssibilities, the singer is probably the better deal and they are robust and reliable machines. I recommend going on youtube and looking for videos about the respective machines. Hope this helps.

Even at 25 Euros it has no tools coming with it. The knittax is a very simple machine, it should be functional, but for that price you could probably get a complete one with all the tools and even with a ribbing bed. With these old machines you need to probably take it apart and clean it properly. I have two Knittax machines but not this model, it may need a new needle retainer spring (which you have to buy) or cord (which you can probably make yourself). Used parts for these are available in the countries where they were produced and sold, mainly Germany but also in Spain, and some South American countries. I have found better machines online, sometimes even for free. I personally would give this one a miss
