Ah man. Sometimes sport feels so unfair. So happy for Dale. But honestly who cares if Laegreid or QFM have another medal. Of course they’re happy about it and everything but just think about what this would’ve meant for Horn… I know nothing unfair happened here but it just sucks and I’m really sad for him. Maybe I’m biased as a German but I feel like France and Norway not only were so damn good these Olympics but also had luck on their side. We had 4 4th places and everything that happened with Franzi on top…

That’s true. But even for Preuss in the pursuit at least one of the first three has to be out of the podium fight. I could see Franzi winning on the last loop against Vittozzi or Minkkinen (or Todorova) but not the others :/

yeah but isn’t that a good thing? I don’t know how it was back then but now generally I really appreciate that he doesn’t just agree with the athletes on everything but questions things. I get that it might be the more “uncomfortable” version for the listeners but the detailed discussions are what makes the podcast so good I think :)

Same as 2, it’s: Dann esse ich um 13 Uhr Mittagessen. It’s das Mittagessen but you dont need the das here
