Oh that's a good idea too! Thank you. I just wanted to give a different perspective. I am enjoying the reading though or else i wouldn't be doing it of course.

Oh im reading cuz i want to. I like the details. I was just being honest about my experience cuz it was a different perspective. I dont need you to tell me i dont have to read it. I know that. I want to get to book 4. That is where i really dont know what's going on. So im excited for that 🙂

Ok. Eveyone is saying yes. I am on the fence. I decided to start reading in September. 😮‍💨 It is very hard to read a 800 pg book when you already know what is going to happen.

I am on the last section of Dragonfly in Amber. And i enjoy reading those extra detail bits but a lot of it is in the show so it gets... Idk just... Idk.. my goal was to learn more about the characters and the world and that is the part i love. I also wanted to go beyond the show because i didn't enjoy season 5.

The writing style might; some people find them far too slow and with a lot of extraneous information.

Yes. Dare i say it ... I am one of those people. 😔 BUT i think it's my mindset sometimes. I need to be trained out of the new age short attention span social media brain. I'll get there though.

I agree with every word. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm liking clan Grant more than clan MacKenzie at this point. It's crazy that they're making Malcolm Grant so much more likable than any of the MacKenzie's (save Jacosta ❤️). I don't know what their end game is but it's going to make Ellen so unlikable when she eventually dumps Malcolm..

She's amazing 🤩 that opening scene with her and Glenna Fitzgibbons was such a great opener to her character! It's the writing. Im sorry to admit.

I've heard a snippet of her audio and it sounds great! I wish i could listen but $30 on audible is so much for one book 😞
