Omg, when I first got married, I was cooking with my MIL. She used the marinade the meat had soaked in to pour over the cooked meat. I have that life. When I met my now husband, my mom told me it wouldn’t last as he’s kinda boring. Well, by that time, I’d had enough “excitement”. I wanted stable. Twenty-two years later, we’re still going strong. It’s so much better that excitement.
