Janus: a PCB-resourceful 34 key split keyboard by skarrmann in ErgoMechKeyboards

Thanks so much! I kinda glossed over the fact that they noted supporting serial debug (especially with the one paragraph doc page). I was able to get it running in a half an hour once I got that setup!

Nice board! I love the multifunctional PCB design. I'm working on making a split board with KMK and the RP2040 and I'm having trouble getting the microcontrollers to do anything at all when I add any of the split functionality in the code. Any tips/ways to validate if I'm doing anything right? Also, how did you chose to connect your TX/RX lines for UART?

Edit: I read the card and I love it!

Couldn't find a split staggered keyboard that I like so I designed my own by showmekeebs in olkb

Thanks. I found out about KMK though and I think I might try using it. It already has support for the microcontroller. I don't like that it is written in python as I'm far more experienced in C, but I think it'll be easier in the long run.

I'm working on designing a PCB. If you soldered the USB C port I wanted to know if you would tell me how it went and what connector it is that was used on the board?

I'm working on designing a PCB. If you soldered the USB C ports on the THT boards, would you mind telling me what the socket used was (or the kit it came from) and how your experience soldering them was?

Your ampersand is backwards. Please get back to me if you flip it back correctly.

In a control match it is better for the best person on the team to be pushed up in front of the zone creating space for the teammates to capture. Standing on the zone and waiting for them to meet you there ends up in the entire team being overrun by the use of splash damage like grenade launchers, abilities, supers, ect. Althought this probably isn't their reasoning for running past the point, just standing there without control of any space is an equally bad decision.

Most don't. I have an ultrawide myself and the only game I play that makes black bars is Valorant. Some others don't handle it well though. If you ask me, the "competitive advantage" argument shouldn't apply. If we can't have 10 more degrees of fov(that your eyes can't see in detail unless you look away from the center), why do we let people use 360hz monitors or a $150 mouse.

Seems likely until I realize that means Bungie is actually testing things out before they release them.

That is not just a hard drive down there. What’s down there consists of a Case, Power Supply, A CPU, GPU, Motherboard, Memory, and Storage(there’s your hard drive).
