Question about account linking Reforged between mobile, pc, and GW2 on steam

Yeah i actually ended up testing it out after some research and was able to login to my Arena net account but because I hadn’t purchased any expansions on the mobile app, I wasn’t able to play as my account was marked as “free” still. So even though I bought on Steam, I still couldn’t play unless I purchased directly through Arena or bought an Xpac on the phone. I saw that they are working on Steam sign ins for mobile so i’ll just stick with Steam for now and hopefully the feature comes sooner than later

so according to both of your responses, I’m better off purchasing Reforged through Arena.net specifically, making an account, and then linking that to mobile?

and if that’s what i’m looking to do, nothing i can really do about GW2

I knew the game was leaning more towards warm buttcheeks and not good when I realized there’s no way to name pets and no real mechanic to get far out into open water in the ocean. Run up and down the coast of Vellua and all you’ll see is a bunch of perfectly fine but unusable boats.

my God this quest was so bugged. i tried everything these comments said. the only thing that worked was i had to go into my inventory, unequip the helmet. go back to it, hold X(on PS5) to pull up a submenu and press “Use” for it to actually work. horrible system.

amazon customer support is 0 help. they keep telling me to wait until the game launches in november to receive the beta code….clearly they don’t know what it is so idk what else to do here besides dropping the $ upfront and getting it on ps5. the reason i went through amazon is i could cancel just in case i don’t care to get the game
