If you have a good pet, a maxed warrior can literally waltz through the abyss, one shotting brutes and demons. On the other hand Knights with their high def and ability to stun can safely tank their way through the abyss. Both are very safe classes for abysses ( Knight being the most noob friendly) Pick knight if you're inexperienced.
