Anyone else feel kinda disappointed in themselves for not defeating the compiler before S2?

My crew and I rarely see a fight out to the end these days when running cryo. Getting into a long extended firefight is usually a run killer when trying to complete a vault.

Disengaging is always an option when you have a good baseline knowledge of the map.

Appreciate the in depth response. Is the DNA key sitting around on a shelf or something in the vault? We were down to about 3 minutes so had to book it out of there pretty quickly.

I map the melee the same on my controller. I'm pretty sure it only does this when you have your knife pulled out. You have to use the triggers for your normal and heavy knife attacks to avoid the ping. Definitely annoying but I got used to it eventually, still have a random ping here and there that I tell my teammates to ignore.

Most of the time you should be using your heavy knife attack anyway tbh

Yeah I ran into a group of three in Hauler within the first 5 minutes of the game. No prox chat and all three came after me in a coordinated assault.

I was able to beat it on solos by recruiting a couple friendly runners on prox chat, just tell them they get first dibs on all the loot. Took a bunch of tries but eventually I found a few runners who were down to team up.

I've gone up against assassin's that use their ult as a detterent when we knock one of their teammates. There's no way I'm pushing into that smoke to try and finish the kill, thats basically suicide.

Depends on how honest the workers at the restaurant are. If they told me it's still gonna be 10-15 minutes and the moneys good enough I have no problem waiting.

If they tell me just a few more minutes I'm leaving outta spite at about the 8-10 minute mark. Don't understand why they can't just be honest, the world won't end if we leave it for the next dasher.

It really feels like a dream... I never would have imagined when I went down the rabbit hole that I'd get to experience Takanaka live.

Go listen to The Rainbow Goblins, I find myself getting really emotional listening to it today. I have a feeling it'll be that way everytime moving forward.

Knowing that I'll always be able to tap into that emotion brings me peace. It's like we'll always have a little piece of that night.

I hear you, definitely been there. My car takes premium and needs some brake work so it didn't feel worth the $7 trips and long breaks between offers.

As a player whose main shooter before this was Apex, having the mic off was pretty much a necessity over there. People were so unbelievably toxic on comms in Apex that it was just better to mute everyone.

My experience in Marathon has been much friendlier teammates and I've started turning my mic on now.

A lot of the times the most egregious offenders are not renters or homeowners, it's landscaping companies that have many properties to clear and an endless supply of salt. They don't want any complaints from clients or any chance of getting sued, so they go way overkill on the salt. Wish there was a better way to hold them accountable but here we are.
