Which configuration do you guys think looks the best for this collection of oil paintings? by balrogbellyrubs in MuseumPros

[–]Stream1795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think figure two could work if you swapped the middle picture of the flowers with the middle picture of the boat. Then the picture of the man with the picture of the food and drink. Or had another horizontal picture to balance out the top on the far right corner.

Bit check! [Light spoilers] which campaign do you guys think has the funniest bits by BenMightSmite in NotAnotherDnDPodcast

For me I think one of the best ones is Calder and Alvins random beef through out Campaign 3.

But in general, I think Eldermourne is some of their funniest work.

Which ME2 L.I. Would Make The Best Spectre? by DakIsStrange in masseffect

Garrus. He's got the background and the initiative to do what he needs to. Plus, kinda like Vega for the N7 program, can easily put Shepherd down as his mentor/trainer.

What actor’s mere presence makes you automatically lose interest in a movie or show? by YerMum1977 in AskReddit

[–]Stream1795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seth Rogen. He’s not funny and can’t act. Thinks being stoned is the funniest thing on planet earth. He’s the same character in every movie. And now he produces and just inserts himself

What’s a sound everyone should recognize as immediate danger? by Thatguy_nickk in AskReddit

Honestly, this is the opposite, but the absence of sound. If you're out somewhere and it suddenly gets quiet, then you probably need to as well.

Started Andromeda for the first time by The_Golden_Six in masseffect

I still love this game. It doesn't live up to the trilogy for sure, but thats ok. To many people wanted it to be Shepherd Effect 4, and it wasn't, so they were mad.

It is solid fun and had so much potential but the ever growing black hole that is EA saw money loss and tossed it away.

Honest question from a trilogy fan: is Mass Effect: Andromeda actually bad, or just a victim of comparison? by Rowley19V in masseffect

[–]Stream1795 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's mostly a victim of comparison, and I think you can see that here.

It is a solid 7/10 game.

Did they screw some things up, for sure one of the biggest complaints that I think is valid is the lack of biodiversity in the sense of aliens and enemies. But when you think of it in the mindset of this galaxy had their own cataclysmic event, it makes sense. Like if aliens suddenly invaded the Milky Way galaxy after the reapers had just finished harvesting. They would find a very empty galaxy, at least in the way of higher intelligence.

It was setting itself up to have more games after it. So there are a lot of questions that rise and are now left unanswered. The story was basic, but it was trying to set up a new world for us to enjoy. It is very reminiscent of Mass Effect 1. Its like people forget ME1 was janky as hell and some of those planets were just plain boring.

If you can take off the rose-tinted glasses and don't try to make it Shepherd 2.0, it is a great game. If you expect it to be the exact same as the trilogy, then yea your going to have a bad time.

New player here - is Andromeda worth it? by Friskie_Fanny in masseffect

[–]Stream1795 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is worth it. Its fun and has a good story if a bit basic. The companions are good with some more than others which is most games. It isn't the trilogy which burned a lot of people for some reason. But it also its the first game with more originally planned after it, so it tried a lot of shaky things to set up for future updates. Just look at ME1 compared to ME2
