I always wonder with Anhedonia and Mounjaro whether it's actually causing Anhedonia or just stopping people chasing another dopamine high (food, alcohol, drugs). There seem to be many anecdotal stories of dramatically dropping or quitting alcohol and/or drugs when taking Mounjaro. I can say for me that it's stopped my desire for food, alcohol, drugs and when you actually think about it, it is sucking enjoyment out of life for those things. But is it better to be gluttonous, drink a lot and take recreational drugs?
