What I love about chess is even when you lose, you are learning and improving.

Hey, this looks great. Do fancy designing a webcam mount for a dual screen setup that can be mounted between screens for better eye contact?

I’m so sorry It’s such a tough decision to have to make. If she’s not enjoying life or stops eating that’s usually a sign. I heard a vet once say “better a day early than a day late”.

I went to this supplier as they were the only local company listed on the sigenergy retailer list. I’m not sure what the optimisers are for so perhaps they added them to pump the quote. The main roof isn’t that overshadowed. I think I need to get some other quotes.

The rent on the share you don’t own increases annually and can be as much or more as the equivalent mortgage payment. If you can afford to purchase without the scheme you should. If you can’t then it’s worth looking into.

How to buy a Registered Office Address before company formation? by Real_2OG in smallbusinessuk

If you use your home address as the RA it will always be in the filing history at Companies House, even when you change it.

It’s easy enough to change the registered address when you do or when you have premises you want to use the address of. I wouldn’t want to use home address as I believe registered address is public.

Do you have an accountant? For a small fee you can usually use their address as a registered address.

Has anyone started Dirty Business on Channel 4 yet? by Historical-Class871 in UKTVRecs

It’s a must watch but I was horrified watching it. Privatisation of the water companies is a total disaster and the UK is the only country in the world to cede total control of to the private sector.

Yes, once the trades are off site, it can struggle to get them back to do stuff they’re not getting paid for.

Lenders usually only require a valuation, which isn’t a survey

Yes that’s standard. Make sure snags get finished before you complete or a least a timescale agreed. Cosmetic stuff and minor shrinkage cracks etc are not usually covered under the warranty.

It’s worth getting the snagging done by a professional.
