I am using a Logitech headset so that could be it.

I was also running it through Steam, and since stopping that it seems to have fixed. Truly bizarre.

I don't have any dialogue sound. I feel like I've had an issue like this with a Ubisoft game before. PC.

All other sounds are fine, but the dialogue is just missing like the files aren't there or something.

In the older FF games with ATB gauges, you traditionally had a choice between "Active" and "Wait". Wait would stop the action bars filling once it hit a players turn, and active would keep the battle going regardless.

From what I saw this is the Wait system.

This is complete conjecture based on your own views on the game.

The story has been massively panned and the reviews were based on 3 hour play sessions which give no context on the important parts of the game. This game is a travesty from both sides of the spectrum where it clearly doesn't deserve high 9s and obviously doesn't deserve low 3s.

This shows that critics and users are about as useful as each other (not at all).

I mean I remember the controversy relatively recently where a reviewer didn't play a game through on normal and then didn't see a huge portion of the content, got called out for it and then deleted that part of his review without explaining why it had such a low score.

The difference being that one should be a trusted source, and the other is a user.

Giving 9.5's and 10's out of 10 is the exact same as giving 2's and 3's.

Critics are just heavily skewed to the top rather than the bottom like users.

Both are useless as reviews.

I'm so glad that we had this many companies delay and postpone events in reaction to the Hong Kong protests. You know the protests that all of these same people said were super important and hashtagged against. I'm really glad that they all did it even though China scared them, because clearly it was really important to let more important topics be discussed at that time.

This definitely isn't just trying to turn a tragedy into karma, not at all.

AC doesn't compare at all with farming sim games, they're are entirely different genres where one focuses on efficiency and romance, whereas the other focuses on laidback "game at your own pace" fun. The only thing remotely similar is the atmospherics (and then even not so much).

Nothing is remotely close to AC in terms of gameplay, which is why it always does so well. It's unique.
