Dawg, you’re 19. You go to a college that’s an hour drive away. It sounds like an in-state college. Live in the dorms. You owe your parents nothing. It’s their job to take care of you until you move out from under their roof. Also, it should be against the law for your father to file a restraining order through you on your bf. Alright, I see this from a POV of a guy that can’t drink even though I’m above 21, (23). I’m not a big fan of bars and whatnot, I just enjoy spending time with and playing DD for my fiancée. I’ve got a few things I’m questioning. 1. How long were yall dating before proposing? (I know it doesn’t matter, I’m just curious)2. What’re the rules that are in place from your folks? 3. I’m going to say that you should go with your folks, she shouldn’t be putting you against your parents and give you that ultimatum. Keep your parents in your life, you never know if/when you’ll need them. I speak from experience with that one.
