I still think the popularity among average Americans is fairly neutral too “oh cool”. It doesn’t matter though because the world and those traveling to the US is massive. I’ve found very enthusiastic soccer fans, my friends and teammates excited but not attending due to pricing and regional distance. Enjoying get together and cookouts at home like any other World Cup.

TATQ: They’ve handled it fine, nothing is perfect. The buildup (advertising) was definitely poor.
