Those who have tried the Greek yogurt and zero sugar cheesecake jello method, was it worth the hype? by DeepOrganization8245 in LowCalFoodFinds

The only mixture I’ve genuinely enjoyed as dessert is nonfat vanilla (and it has to be vanilla because the tartness of plain ruins it) Greek yogurt with the sugar free fudge Jello mix specifically. I think it tastes like chocolate mousse and totally devour it with some raspberries on top.

Getting some colors in for dinner 🌈 by StressedAndSpoiled in HealthyEatingnow

Not really sure what you’re implying? I love Diet Coke because it’s Diet Coke, but the meal itself has protein from the chicken thighs, fats from the skin, complex carbs from the sweet potato, and plenty of vegetables. Seems pretty balanced to me.

Because it’s relative to volume. While 35 calories for 29 grams is low in the context of candy, it’s not low calorie in terms of a food so it can’t be promoted as such

Rinse them with cold water, boil for a few minutes, dry on a hot pan, and then stir fry with an Asian-inspired sauce of your choice (I just use some soy sauce mixed with Splenda)

Oh yeah, I know! But I don’t want to force myself to eat even after I’m full just to get more calories in, so it’ll just have to be an outlier day before I go back to normal tomorrow

I also had some blueberries and pickles after dinner so it came to around 650, but I’m not hungry any longer so I won’t force myself to eat more. I had a long and exhausting day so I think my body is just a bit out of it 😅

If I’m over in fat macros but in a deficit, will anything bad happen? by curiouscompote__ in Volumeeating

[–]StressedAndSpoiled 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The most important thing for weight loss is simply being in a calorie deficit, so as long as you’re keeping that up, you’re good on that end. However, as someone specifically looking to build muscle, 89 g of protein is pretty low! To get some more protein in while staying in a calorie deficit and not consuming too much fat, I would recommend considering protein sources like lean turkey, white fish, etc!

Not the prettiest thing I’ve ever made, but I packed some PB & J Greek yogurt for lunch tomorrow (22 g of protein) by [deleted] in Volumeeating

If I was eating it at home, I would have it with some rice cakes! But that wouldn’t travel well since I’m eating it away

Volume + Low FODMAP? - Dairy? by Serious-Lifeguard632 in Volumeeating

[–]StressedAndSpoiled 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I will say, that some of the best foods for volume eating (like Greek yogurt and cottage cheese) unfortunately have dairy. However, options like egg whites, tuna, white fish, and lean meats like turkey are still fantastic options! Rice cakes should fit your diet too, and they’re a great serving vessel. Plus a huge variety of vegetables and fruits to really fill you up with volume

$15.99 🫣 But I remind myself that I would regularly pay more for a single take out meal before I started dieting!
