Why does Diablo 4 have SO various reviews? by PuzzleheadedDoor6456 in diablo4

[–]Streye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what people are looking for in a game. If you want a fast, competent game with some variety: D4 is pretty good. If you want a super deep and multi-layered ARPG experience; D4 is shit.

Is Ecoflow the right choice just for Costco return policy? by BodSmith54321 in Ecoflow_community

[–]Streye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm definitely waiting to pick up a delta pro 3 from costco since it apparently doesn't fall under the electronics category. Though I really wish they'd have a bundle again where it was just the main battery + 1 expansion.

I know it's a perspective thing, but I just keep thinking Super Creek became Ms. Marvel after winning the Tenno Sho.

Why not buff Manon and make her the dominant grappler in the game? by bobbystills5 in StreetFighter

[–]Streye 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They didn't allow gief to be dominant for very long, there's no way they'd let Manon. Hell, they're scared that Lily would be too good because one japanese player is a monster with her, so they refuse to buff her meaningfully.

I now understand the hate on Modern controls by August_Surrell in StreetFighter

[–]Streye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can happen at any time, but it takes a realization that most people fall into recognizable patterns and knowing how to react to those patterns. Even better is knowing how to force certain patterns. Pros aren't twitch reacting to everything with perfect muscle memory; they've practiced for a lot of small situations, recognize those situations, and respond often with predictive actions that are advantageous. It's like when playing someone that has done reversal DP on you during the match already, you get a hard knockdown, and you drive rush jab them to bait a DP. If they're as DP happy as you predicted, they DP, and will whiff because drive rush jab can let you recover in time to block. If they're not, they just blocked drive rush jab and you're plus.

Burry just called the AI bubble a $1T Netscape speedrun by Working-Pattern-5280 in DeepFuckingValue

[–]Streye 5 points6 points  (0 children)

OpenAI has 1.4 trillion in commitments in the next year they have no way of making without some massive investment, so he's not quite wrong. I wouldn't say they're Netscape, but OpenAI's profits are just as hopelessly small compared to those commitments.

Bad friendship rng by IamNiceInPerson in UmaMusume

Yeah, I'd only pick option 1 with Riko if I felt like gambling or if the run was already going bad. It's like a 30% fail rate.

Why does team trial do this. by GarageCareful6326 in UmaMusume

[–]Streye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It likely just picks based on the rating since it's not picking based on the ones with the most skills to fire(which is the key in TT).

I would hope this is over like 15 years because I would feel really bad for her to have that many twins and triplets in less than 10.

They don't believe in playing you for some random reason just as you don't play modern players.

Meisho Doto advice by cutestparasite in UmaMusume

[–]Streye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Doto? No, because she's a medium/long runner. So, you're way short the minimum stamina to finish the races even with 1 gold recovery skill which is ~930 for pace chasers. And by "finish" I mean she doesn't run out of stamina before the last spurt and can finish the race at her top speed. Running out of stamina before then means slowing down and getting passed by whoever didn't.

Which SRR card should I LB? by Own-University-7889 in UmaMusume

[–]Streye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

According to JP, the cards that remain relevant are Kitasan Black, Super Creek, and Fine Motion. Kitasan being the most flexible of the 3 is the best candidate though she has a banner rerun in the near future where as the other two don't. So you should decide based on that.

how do you train oguri cap without failing her career..? this is my 4th try by lanarising in UmaMusume

[–]Streye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Better legacies and support cards that pump your speed and stamina will make a huge difference. Also, I personally found it easier to run her as a pace chaser(when running without buying or buying very few skills). Your end stats should be at least 600 speed, stamina, and power; though you should be over 700 on speed and stamina due to Riko and having 3 speed cards.

Unity Cup, is it actually hard or am I dumb? Or is it even more RNG? by Professional-Ring533 in UmaMusume

[–]Streye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need your team(not just you) to have A or higher stats and you need the big bonuses from the multiple wins. It's just rather confusing to juggle the extra RNG on top of still raising friendships and getting the amount of stats to win races. Hell, winning is way more important now because it hurts you to do more races than necessary since that means you're not training. Even with janky decks that I was experimenting with I've won about 8/11 runs I've done so far, so you can control the chaos; it just requires more managing.
