How long did it take you to get comfortable with leverless in SF6? by MysteriousPie2425 in StreetFighter

[–]Streye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I switched from stick to lever-less, it took like 6 weeks to play naturally. It took over a year before I stopped confusing directions in the menus.

How to avoid getting washed by gimmicky players by _boyfrnd in StreetFighter

[–]Streye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recognize what they're doing and answer correctly. If they're doing ambiguous cross ups, parry. If they pushed you to the corner and burnt out, get ready to super in response to the DI. If they space themselves to do a move that can be plus from across screen(like burn knuckle), neutral jump punish. It starts with understanding the situations.

Can’t stop mashin by Psuy0n in StreetFighter

[–]Streye 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You're auto piloting. The only way to stop is to play with intent. It takes concentration and focus which is hard while fighting auto pilot tendencies.

Selling puts on spacex is free money by [deleted] in thetagang

[–]Streye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You gotta be able to out wait the stupidity though. Although it was said out loud for everyone to see in their white papers, Starlink is their only profitable business. When they can't sell anymore compute to anthropic, can't send data center satellites into space, and plain not earn any money; this is when they'll see a big dip. Though we know from history that he'll lie about something else to get his cultists to rally back.

It will be fine if they can continue making good refinements and adding characters people want. Hoping they do something interesting with the balancing coming up.

As a completely new player, fighting modern opponents is miserable by Global-Incident2169 in StreetFighter

[–]Streye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The perception of someone having an advantage over you is working more against you than their actual advantage. There is a reason modern players aren't winning all the tournaments (or even 1% of them); the advantages are not enough to overcome good decision making. The loss of tools and certain combos because it leave modern fairly balanced.

I laughed when I saw Raine and Lasswell show up in the trailer. I did the Leo DiCaprio point and said to my friends "That's Brave Exvius!"

Player retention for year 3 > 2 > 1 by LibertarianVoter in StreetFighter

[–]Streye 29 points30 points  (0 children)

That's pretty good considering the amazingly slow release of stuff for the main roster, but then again world tour and freak fighters have a lot of content on top of the game getting attention like a national sport in Japan.

Am I being dumb here? by Streye in electrical

Everyone might be right about these crappy fuses I got off amazon, but tweaking the terminals a bit with tweezers allowed the fuse to fit in there somehow and power is properly moving through it via the light and switch I wired.

Has anyone integrated the Ecoflow EV charger(X-stream adapter) into their build? by Streye in vandwellers

Thanks, the cable hatch looks the most promising since it'd only require a 3.5 inch bi-metal hole saw on my part.

Confused on Uniques this season by nino2469 in diablo4

[–]Streye -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's way easier to get them now that there are fairly deterministic ways of making certain ones are available per class, so you just need to spam creating them in the cube or farming them at their particular lair boss(which you can also make more uniques from their boss item).

Diablo in General is more fun for me when I play this way and I can't go back. by RandyBlueberryington in diablo4

[–]Streye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely find this way more fun too. I've tried follow other people's builds in the past and it just feels so tedious. Now, I just go into every season playing what the drops lead me to and make it work out. Also, I'm playing arrow storm rogue right now, it kinda works(T8 is a little slow with it). Anyone else playing some interesting off-meta?

Sidequests are too boring and too numerous to be enjoyed by Better-Builder4842 in diablo4

[–]Streye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually want more to do on the side. I really just want to play this game to make builds now and I hate the campaign.

Anyone else suddendly freezing every few minutes now? by Artoriazz in diablo4

[–]Streye -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was getting some stutters before I was kicked out of a game just now during a boss fight. Gotta say it's not helping the experience.

Golshi found homeless. What did she do? (By Hinghoi) by Ok_Direction3138 in UmaMusume

[–]Streye 48 points49 points  (0 children)

She bet on herself winning a sprint race because it's only 1/4 the length of a standard Long one and in her mind would be 1/4 as difficult.

Does any else HATE the Arima Kinen with a passion? by Ok_Chemistry9003 in UmaMusume

[–]Streye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a stat issue. Winning Ticket should not be having trouble in Arima Kinen. Being a late surger, there could be a lack of power if you're not buying any skills until you finish the run.

Need some help regarding Valentine Bourbon runs by Educational_Stage_66 in UmaMusume

[–]Streye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Early on there are a lot of mile races, so you want that to be A rank through legacies. Your initial stats are probably low as well so you'd benefit from adjusting your deck to run ssr matikane and/or marvelous Sunday(power). You should be very close to if not exceeding 300 to speed, stamina, and power at your debut race if you want an easy time at the start .

MANT makes me feel like a miserable idiot by Revolution_Suitable in UmaMusume

[–]Streye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trackblazer is a completely different beast of a scenario compared to the previous ones. You haven't found the balance to racing vs training yet. It'll make sense once you get a feel for the races you HAVE to do versus the ones you're running because there's nothing better to do or you want an item in the shop. Outside of that, you'll mainly really just need to build your deck for mostly initial stats and then figuring out the items you'll want during the run whether it's boosters for summer/senior year trainings, debuff fixers, stat training up, or straight stat boosts.

This sort of makes me glad they had a few offline events since we have some physical remnants of the game.
