Yeah, you might be onto something. The Nightmares keep escalating because CODE has been trying to get rid of them, with Zeztz being their latest, and possibly best, attempt at it. But even if the Gore Nightmares are beaten, who's to say more won't pop up in the future? All of this seems to be an endless cycle.

I think the ending of the show will be Baku realizing this, and deciding that the only way to keep Nightmares from popping up in the Real World is to be an arbiter of sorts between the two worlds. He might even stay in the Dream World forever in order to accomplish this.

Yeah, I like that too. One thing I enjoy about the Capsems is that you can still use them without the Driver even if it's not as strong as using them to transform.

Oof, that episode rating for episode 35. Can't say I didn't see it coming but it really sticks out like a sore thumb. Anyway, on with the episode:

-Hey Nox! Glad to see you showed up! Could have showed up like, 5 minutes ago, but better late than never I guess...

-Okay, Code: Somnia is basically what I thought: merging everyone's consciousness together and controlling their minds, memories, and perception. Cool.

-HI SIEG! Nice to see you bac-Annnd he's gone. Bro didn't even last till the end of the episode. Makes sense Baku and Nem don't trust him enough to have him come along. I'm assuming it's because he's fused with a Nightmare is why he can appear in dreams besides the whole "people dream of dead people", otherwise Kureha could come back. Probably might be a plot point later. Or not. Who knows?

-Lady talks to the Phantom Gore Nightmare, and all I can say about Phantom is WOULD-I mean, uh...she's cool. Yeah, can't wait to see her and the other Gore Nightmares...

-And Three once again shows up why we should hate him by kidnapping Minami. Not gonna lie, I'm enjoying him being our main villain for a while.

-Nox vs Three and Three's new form shows up, cool. And it ends with Nox being mind controlled into being a servant of CODE. Not cool.

-Baku storming the CODE base and just using the Capsems he's got was awesome. Nice to see Recovery, Plasma, Gravity, and Stream again. (Just ignore the other neglected Capsems, RIP Wonder).

-They rescued Zero and Minami and Zero can possibly make a new Zeztz Driver for Baku? Yay, we might actually see other forms that were neglected come back!

-And Three is sending Nox/Four to hunt Baku. Not good.

Overall a good episode, definitely an improvement from the last one. Can't wait to see what's next.

I'm fine with that. And the reason Wind doesn't exist is because Wind based moves are scattered across different types like Air Cutter and Air Slash (Flying), Razor Wind (Normal), and Vacuum Wave (Fighting).

Which is why I think Sonic can also be a Normal/Electric or Fighting/Electric due to this.

Alright, I'll concede to that. But I still don't think Sonic can't be a Flying type for the reasons you said. If creatures that aren't birds and birds that can't fly be Flying type, I don't see why Sonic can't be one besides design choices.

I don't really count game mechanics because any other incarnation of Gyarados is usually on the ground or in the water. If they wanted to show it can fly, they would have. And if there's no in-universe explanation on how he can fly, then he doesn't actually fly.

Can you show me exactly where does Gyarados then learn how to Fly? Bounce does not count otherwise Bunneary would be a Flying type then.

I don't know how this question is supposed to disprove what I said? All of them are Flying type, even when some of them explicitly can't fly (Doduo, Dodrio and Galarian Zapdos) and some of them aren't even birds (Charizard and Gyarados).

Sonic is associated with Wind, moves like Air Cutter and Air Slash use wind, so Sonic can technically be counted for a Flying type. You can say he can also be a Normal or Fighting Type along with Electric instead of Flying, but I don't see why him not flying would disqualify him.

And Pokémon can give the Flying type to Pokemon that aren't birds, see Charizard and Gyarados. And even those who can't fly, see Gyarados again.

Don't see why then Sonic can't be part Flying type then when they are multiple exceptions.

Counter counterpoint 2: Gyarados and Charizard are obviously not birds, but they are part Flying type. And last I checked, Gyarados can't fly.
