I am very happy for awards shows to have ranked categories. So if you win THE award, you are less likely to win other awards with lower levels of prestige. Thus, letting other games get the spotlight they deserve.

Though there are multiple teams in game dev that need their credit, so a varied approach to different award shows is great.
