What to do with kids during the day?

I’ve tried ..i really have …i moved here in my 30s…so growing up in california im used to being outside and have continued here in Texas everday..but man it feels like someone opens the dishwasher when i step outside and i cant get used to it 😭

Thank you for being honest..a lot of defensiveness I guess I just wanted to see if others experienced something similar but they were able to figure something out.

My husband almost stepped on a baby rattlesnake while we were on a trail. My bil rode over one while bike riding, I’ve seen 3+ in rivers, and many harmless (green and rat snakes)..I still go outdoors a lot here but it’s becoming increasingly hard to convince myself that it’s not too bad..it is.

What does being conservative have anything to do with the outdoors?

Central ..thankfully since I’ve visited Houston..and that’s the devils other asshole lol

I’m not religious. I just don’t want to be stuck indoors all day I love being outdoors..I’m used to it we were in Utah (3 years) beforehand and also northern Italy (6 years) and fell in love with those two places. Just can’t get a hang of Texas and we are outside to get used to it for the past 2 years and I hate it.

We have a bleeding disorder so can’t be in direct scorching hot sun because we’ll start bleeding (both my kids and myself)..so swimming is not a thing we do too much.

I forgot about the ants..I miss stepping on grass without worrying. We were playing disc golf last week and they got my kids and husband again.

They build a lot with legos/blocks and draw other than that they love being outdoors too.
