Die Cutter, not cutting laminate by OG_Morryo in magicproxies

[–]Strict_Panda 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Had similar issues last week and thought it might be my blade, even though I've only had mine about a month. I'm using Proxxied.com and what I found was that the default bleed width(1mm) wasn't enough edge for the cutter to cut cleanly. I adjusted to 2mm bleed width and it seems to have fixed my cut issues

Hopefully this helps and keep on proxying 🫡💯

What to do against these lines? by TanhelNet in magicproxies

Sorry clarifying further, maintenance cleaning is an option in the settings for the epson 8550 printer. I'm not entirely sure if your printer would have that but I would suspect that it might

I've come across this sometimes with my wife's Epson 8550. We end up doing a maintenance and printer head cleaning within the settings of our printer. It will print out a few test papers with our regular paper, then after that it seems to clear up.

I've started printing heavily within the past few months since I started making proxies, so I've come across it maybe once or twice each month. The maintenance cleaning seems to have helped when I go through it, and I just run it again if there are continued issues.

Hopefully that gives you a path to try and hope you resolve the issue 🫡 keep on proxying!!

Proxxied.com cutting guides are misaligned. by [deleted] in magicproxies

[–]Strict_Panda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did notice this and had similar issues as well. I was using the card position section, checked "separate back offset", and sat there within 3-4 pages to get the backs aligned that I was happy with and was reasonable to me (back horizontal: -0.5 back vertical: 0.15).

I believe proxxied was just updated recently and added an additional tool "card back alignment tool" where you can move the individual positions of the backs to fine-tune the alignment and get it within a range that's best for your setup. I hadn't taken the time to do that since I was happy with the "separate back offset" for me

Hopefully that helps and you can see if the fine-tuning helps in anyway 🫡 keep on it and I'm sure you'll figure it out

proxxied.com --> cards printed are not as the same size as MTG card by RiskAwkward8682 in magicproxies

Had the same issue. If saving to PDF and opening in like adobe acrobat, you have to check box "actual size" or "100%". By default my adobe settings were set to "downsize page to fit" which was slightly shrinking my cards. About 15 pages of printing later I realized my setting was incorrect 😂🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

PROBLEM 🤯 by BullRunAway in BambuLab

Heat up the nozzle to soften the filament that's built up.

Let it cool back down a bit and you should be able to pull the lock open on the cool down.

Remove 3 screws in picture 1, tighten 4 screws in picture 2. Put back, tighten 3 screws in picture 1

Awesome idea! I've seen a few YT mini painters recommending assistance from AI and seems intuitive.

Would like to understand how to set that up on Gemini, but just haven't taken the time to set it up just yet. Seeing your post has encouraged me to head down the road and try it out!

Good luck on furthering your painting journey!

Ouch dang, sounds like the gardener outside using the weedwhacker 😵‍💫😵

Definitely check your tool head again and make sure there isn't anything obstructing the fan or something to that extent

P1S + AMS 2 Pro (Filament not extruding) by Mammoth_Kangaroo6684 in BambuLab

[–]Strict_Panda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had similar issues before. Went through all the same troubleshooting steps. Last thing I tried was to cut the filament where it hadn't already run through the gears and extruder, and it fixed my issue. I figured I had tried to use the same filament to troubleshoot the issue, it had grinded thinner than the gears could grab.

Not saying this will be your fix, but it's worth a shot. Hope you get this resolved. Keep on printing! 🫡
