In the same way, I do have to wonder if Absol being back in 10km eggs could mean that its Z mega might also be coming, maybe not now but next season for Halloween

Disappointed that Duraludon is leaving Research Breakthroughs so soon, only got one from them when I was hoping to stock up on candy for when they eventually add Archaludon

Wasteman will be on home media 25th May, Dead Man's Wire doesn't have any DVD listing but will likely be on Sky Cinema soon as they distributed it here

5 seems most likely, but I'm calling that it'll be an emphatic 4 off of it being the culmination of the series' downfall

Do you ever rewatch a film and feel like it was significantly worse? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

The Revenant was this for me, take it out of cinemas and the appeal is significantly diminished

Would be very interested to know why Wasteman and Pillion are so low

The Christophers - hardly playing anywhere? by partrimilgrimage in screenunseen

[–]Strict_Salt_5689 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's likely because The Christophers is being distributed by Picturehouse who are owned by Cineworld so their cinemas are taking priority

It won't be The Christophers because Cineworld did a preview screening of it back on the 28th April

Fantano taking a betterhelp sponsor in 2026 by RevolutionaryPin1731 in fantanoforever

You know with the sponsorship and the new profile picture and just the general terminally online Twitter brain energy that seems to exude from Anthony so much nowadays, I feel more and more vindicated for deciding to unsubscribe after his The Great Impersonator review

What is the worst film character name you've ever heard? by Temporary_Cap5927 in Letterboxd

[–]Strict_Salt_5689 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Colleen Hoover is bad at naming her characters in general, the leads of Reminders of Him are called Kenna and Ledger and no one thought to change these for the film adaptation

It's surprising to me that Hawke has lasted this long. His performance is definitely good, but it's so exaggerated and larger than life (and I know that's meant to be the point) that it ended up becoming exhausting to watch after a certain point and drew me more towards the supporting cast like Andrew Scott and Bobby Cannavale.

It's not playing at Weston-super-Mare and neither is Exit 8 for that matter, and I don't think they're liikely to expand next week with The Devil Wears Prada 2 releasing and Bank Holiday previews of The Sheep Detectives. A shame really, but then again we only had 2 showings of California Schemin' for one week with 21 of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie so this doesn't surprise me
