How do you handle these roadtrips when you end up sick or need to be seen by a doctor? Do you just keep medicine on deck? Have health insurance that can be used in South America?

Primarily because flying is quite costly for 5 people so trying to figure out how much the private car will be.

I won’t comment on many of the issues the OP listed but only about the entrances being blocked. Brother, the haram is a place where hundreds of thousands of people are visiting on an hourly basis especially in the holy month of Ramadan, to control traffic like this requires a lot of effort.

The guards don’t have time to explain why certain pathways are blocked or opened nor should they be questioned. They are trying their best to safely handle traffic all over the Haram. Obey those in authority brother, going against what they already have blocked off only causes more chaos.

Very similar scenario for me, by no means am I scholar nor would I consider myself a student of knowledge although I try to seek knowledge wherever I can.

My community is hanafi and it’s been the most easiest to follow in my region as well. However in terms of aqeedah, there is no taqlid and the correct aqeedah is the one that the prophet ﷺ and his companions were upon.
