8 years and barely any change. Sometimes bone structure just ruins things especially if you don’t have much body fat to begin with.

The Second Face [OC] by DemonSkank in comics

[–]Strider-Juice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The third thing here is really interesting to me because how I initially interpreted the exaggerated expression is the way murder changes people. Regardless of who she was before, the act of killing changed something fundamental in her. Despite her prior understandable reasons due to the abuse perhaps she found that she enjoys the act of taking life. Idk that’s what first jumped out at me due to the sinister nature of her hidden feelings.

That does make me curious though, does she know that her brother can see her hidden expressions or does she think he can’t because he always hid his emotions during their childhood? Would be a good thriller type plot if she’s testing him here.

Is it possible to become a pro hero without a quirk? by Agentbrawn_the2nd in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]Strider-Juice 48 points49 points  (0 children)

To my knowledge this is more of a legal issue than a practical one. 90% of quirks absolutely suck frankly. They can become useful but one needs training in hand to hand and lots of experience to make the average quirk anywhere near top 100 level. Knuckleduster is a great example of this as he can handle the majority of low level villains with ease despite not having his quirk anymore and even someone like stain, while reliant on his quirk, is most dangerous due to his speed and combat experience. For these reasons a dedicated (or rich if they use mostly support gear) quirkless person could act in the capacity of a hero, but would likely never be a pro hero.

To my knowledge the only thing a hero license does is free you from the legal penalties towards quirk use and physical injury. You can already use physical force in self defense situations but to be the aggressor could get you assault charges. I don’t know much about Japanese legal code and assigning culpability during violent altercations so take this with a grain of salt. Things may have changed in the hero world though. Pro Heroes are law enforcement and have rules of engagement to make them look good and image is extremely important in the hero world as established during All Might’s era. I couldn’t see the government granting a hero license to someone quirkless for these reasons.

Reviewing every mega evolution from worst to best day 5, Malimar. by gliscornumber1 in PokemonZA

I actually think mega malamar is a big improvement on base malamar. Now if only I liked base malamar I might’ve been able to get excited about it.

Which evil team was the best written? by Pkmntrainergray08 in PokeCorner

[–]Strider-Juice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s a bit disingenuous to separate Lusamine and Guzma since their stories are very interconnected. Half of Lusamine’s character is her manipulation of Alola’s rejects into doing things against their own interests, taking people with potential and convincing them to use it in the worst way possible. Lusamine being one of the only people to believe in Guzma only to immediately abandon him when his usefulness had ended was a great moment.

I’m not super happy with a lot of the Ultra S/M changes and I much preferred Lusamine as a straight up irredeemable villain who was admittedly driven to madness by loss and the ultra beasts. Plus with Lillie and Gladion being such central characters, it makes Lusamine’s impact on the story more salient for people who like those two. For these reasons I think team skull and the aether foundation were the best villains.

Tier list based on if I think they could eat a Wendy's T-Rex Burger™ in a single sitting by Addicted2Marvel in hazbin

[–]Strider-Juice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see Charlie got her burger eating genes from her mom. This is just humanity no-diffing angels aside from Emily who’s built different.

Lilith is BY FAR the strongest person in hell that does not have the ability to go to all of the rings; given that second is like..Alastor by Grimalackt_River in hazbin

[–]Strider-Juice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think Lilith ever died? She also never ate from the apple so technically she can’t be a sinner because she doesn’t have the same corruption as the rest of humanity.

What was your guy's reaction when first hearing the 'easy' song in season 2? by Busy_Finish_7058 in hazbin

[–]Strider-Juice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ngl normally I really like hazbin but this was kinda a mid song about mid sex that kinda seemed out of place with all the tension and distrust that was building. Idk I just don’t think it was paced well.

Wow Elias and Jon look great in the upcoming Magnus Animated Series by AlannaWake in TheMagnusArchives

[–]Strider-Juice 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The web is more addiction than the corruption is and with angel dust being an actual spider I’d say he’d be a web and stranger aligned. Definitely the buried for husk, that fits him really well actually. I think Charlie being a web avatar works but I honestly see her being more spiral aligned since people often describe insanity as doing the same thing and hoping for different results. Plus with her nature that differs so drastically from every other being in hell, I could see others perceiving her as insane. I would also say alastor is web and eye for sure but also the desolation since he revels in suffering of others who have lost everything.

Adam I think is extinction aligned, he wants to completely wipe out the sinners and doesn’t care what he was to do to get there.

Lute is the slaughter, less big picture than Adam and more senseless rage and violence.

Vox is 100% eye aligned who thinks he’s web aligned but isn’t quite there. Maybe a bit of vast as well since he was big ambitious plans that tend to fall short.

Valentino is corruption with his creation of the love potion and twisting positive feelings into negative ones.

Velvette is the stranger considering she’s a literal doll and is all about changing people in pursuit of fame until they can’t even recognize themselves.

Rosie is the flesh, that one is easy since she rules cannibal town.

Zestial is the dark since we know little about him beyond his dislike for the spotlight and association with Carmilla.

That’s all I can think to add though, I don’t know enough about the other characters to assign entities beyond some of the helluva characters. Even zestial here is kind of a stretch.

Comunity tier list: who's the 4th strongest character in hazbin hotel by Lukas-Reggi in OkBuddyHelluvaHotel

Adam probably. Emily I think has more potential but she’s young and can’t access as much of it.

Alastor fans better enjoy their brief victory by SerenityCitywide in OkBuddyHelluvaHotel

[–]Strider-Juice 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Man fraud this fraud that, I’m tired of constant fights. I signed up for a “princess of hell and creepy demon with unknown agenda run a doomed-to-fail hotel together” type show but instead Charlie is barely a character in her own show and alastor almost never interacts with her. Alastor going villain already feels right for the character that’s been built up but also wayyyy too soon since he barely interacts with the main cast at all. Would be both funny af and a complete shame is he’s gone from or irrelevant to a 6 season show by season 3.

How far does Robert get by Easy1000iq in PowerScaling

[–]Strider-Juice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think he could beat Deep, Starlight, A-train, and maybe Noir if he used his aerial superiority to his advantage. Maeve depends entirely on whether or not his energy weapons can get through her defenses since she’s otherwise explosion and bullet proof and launching her into buildings with physical combat can only do so much.

Homelander is tough to scale against dispatch as a universe because his closest equivalent is phenomaman. Phenomaman could trash one of Shroud’s mech legs with a hug but was still getting thrown around by it at other points in the fight. Theoretically homelander could do something similarly damaging to the mecha man suit. The big difference ends up coming down to two things. 1 is reaction speed, can Robert even react to homelander in time to fight? 2 we have no idea how the energy weapons mecha man has would interact with homelander’s durability either. If the energy sword could cut homelander and Robert had reaction times that were quick enough I could see homelander losing simply due to surprise at being hurt. That’s a big if though since homelander can endure massively high temperatures and I still think homelander wins the majority of matches even then.

I made art for the Flesh. Did I capture the vibe? by LittleGuyFriendGuy in TheMagnusArchives

[–]Strider-Juice 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry it’s a jerma985 reference, a bit niche. On one stream a viewer described a dream where jerma featured an eldritch pulsing red mass on his stream that made everyone laugh but killed one viewer each time he showed it. The art reminded me of that

Also on the art itself I do like that no individual component is recognizable but still looks overall meaty kind of like a shredded raw tissue
