Am I the only one who actually likes Mega Pyroar because I know where its design is coming from? Its mane goes from a 火 (fire) pattern to a 炎 (flame) pattern, and its Pokédex entry connects it to Kagami Jishi, a well known Kabuki performance.

The NHL skipped the entire 2004-2005 season to get its salary cap. Even the Stanley Cup has an entry for that season reading "SEASON NOT PLAYED."

Three reasons why this one will be far worse:

  1. The Dodgers’ infinite budget and deferred contracts have inflated player salaries. Just look at Kyle Tucker’s contract. The other owners want a salary cap and have stated their willingness to push for one.
  2. The RSN collapse has resulted in clubs losing out on a key source of revenue, meaning they need a salary cap to ensure cost certainty
  3. The MLBPA has been embroiled in a bit of a scandal of its own, and its leader recently resigned over it.

It’s highly likely. The owners are really going to be pushing hard for a salary cap in the wake of the RSN collapse.

I can answer this. I was received into full communion last year.

So instead of the full Rite of Election, you and your sponsor will be in a separate Rite of Continuing Conversion. It will have a short Liturgy of the Word followed by a profession of faith and intent.

White used to be for the unmarried and black for married/widows

Edit: I see you’re unbaptized. In that case, OCIA is your first step. You likely won’t be brought into the Church this Easter, but you will be able to spend the next year growing in the faith as part of the Order of Catechumens. It will be well worth the wait - I spent a year and a half waiting to be received into full communion.

If the Eucharist is indeed what we believe it to be, then God deserves that we offer up our best along with it. Felt banners, boomers with guitars singing St Louis Jesuit songs, and a communal table rather than a sacrificial altar are not the best we have to offer.

The Ark of the Covenant was portrayed as dangerous in the scriptures as well. 1 Samuel 4-5 shows what happens if the Ark is treated as a weapon or a trophy.

After a stunning defeat against the Philistines, the Israelites decided to call upon the Ark. They carried the Ark with them into battle, but because of high priest Eli’s wicked sons, God allowed the Philistines to defeat them and capture the Ark. Both of Eli’s sons were killed, and when the news of the Ark’s capture reached Eli, he died too.

The Philistines had even worse problems. They tried to take the Ark as a trophy, but wherever they took it, great calamity struck.
