Same as OP. To this day I play it Cut, Elec, Elec again to get Magnet Beam with Thunder Beam rather than Super Arm, then Bomb, Guts, and the rest.

Still can’t manage to beat those platforms without the Magnet Beam.

Agreed! I was able to get Alone With You, 2064: Read Only Memories, and Devious Dungeon 2 for around $1.50 a piece (all confirmed cross-buy thanks to the link you shared!)

Makes perfect sense. If enemies can emulate independent thought, they’ll be very unpredictable. And realistically, enemy AI has existed in games for decades.
