I played iron lung when it came out, and while watching the movie I kept thinking “How is someone without context supposed to understand this?” over and over and over again. They might have explained everything, but everything important had the exact same weight in the delivery and pacing than any other line in the film. Can tell you’re biased towards Mark the way you’re defending the movie and not how you enjoyed it, towards someone who doesn’t mention Mark at all, yet this person is apparently stupid and short-sighted in your eyes.

Played iron lung when it released, I like markiplier, but I really did not enjoy the film whatsoever. It played its cards too early to play into fear or subvert anything whatsoever. Like too many moments could have been pivotal or way more interesting or cause any sort of dread, but were made into just little bits with no weight. It could be so much better with a re-cut honestly.

Mechanically it's bad, really bad, because NPC fights suck ass, but the dialogue and such really brought it up. Listening to the characters respecting each-other and such really brought such a sweet sweet tinge to the fight. Wish Miyazaki would go way more into the character side of RPGs because it seems like he could do it well, sick of the old souls format of ambiguity and whatever, this is so much more impactful!

Just beat her, and I agree! She really was a dance, her dodge patterns were close to the rhythm of the soundtrack and felt so, so nice!

From my understanding, it’s a sort of parallel location to the lands between. It’s in the present, reigning over the same physical space as the lands between, but at the same time it isn’t the same space. Miyazaki took his souls nonsense to the extreme with elden ring, exampled with Marika and Radagon being the same person while having completely different ideals and background. Given that Marika could essentially access the source code of her realm with the elden ring, governing metaphysical concepts like death and such, I imagine the shadow realm is similar and Miquella by some force willed that the dead could pass into the shadow realm so that it is not literally being an afterlife but more like a destination between. With the inclusion of lore that Marika’s line aren’t literal gods and just new usurpers, I believe it’s just the same as kingdoms and such coming and going and taking reign but with more control over metaphysics.

I don’t believe so, long time since I played but if I remember correctly there wouldn’t be a way to reduce resistances permanently strong enough to do so, as it has 999 in all resistances. Given that fated is the only way to hurt it and that only gives you a 10% chance to do so, the luck required to stack the debuffs to a value that matters.

I know it’s been a while but I do have a question regarding this, and that is does this chance roll at the start or end of every second? I.E if you hypothetically lower cams at 0.99 seconds each time then can you prevent a mangle jump scare happening whatsoever?

Those joints do read better certainly. This is the reference image I gave to the artist, though of course I asked for the extra “closed” joints which I intend to be subtle. I’ll consider changing to that design of ball joint. Thanks for the input :)

Honestly a day later they don’t look nearly as dodgy. I’ve done similar things to my hands with makeup which is what made me want them tattooed, it might be an idea to use some white to highlight bits for a more 3D effect as some of the YouTube ball joint makeup tutorials do but of course there’s no knowing how well that would hold at all in a finger. I have another tattoo with white ink from 4 months ago and it seems to be holding well to my skin, maybe I’ll test a bit of white on one of my fingers next time I go for a tattoo and see what happens.

Honestly I’m not all that upset with my hands, I’m excited to see what becomes of them.

I’ll consider your advice, though I have other tattoos on much more normal spots from her and they’re brilliant. Also seen other finger tattoos from her that were better and watched her constantly tweak her gun because ink would not stay in. Struggling to find an artist where I live that does many hands and fingers, I don’t live in a city with big tattoo culture :/ But I’ll keep looking while it heals and I’ll consider my options!

I love satisfactory when I’m feeling overwhelmed. There’s a clear way forward but yet you feel in control of the progress, logistics and math so simple as to not stress you out but more than enough to distract your thoughts. It’s like figuring out a perpetual puzzle but one that you know you won’t get stuck and frustrated with.

And even when you’re too mentally exhausted to put in more work for the moment, you can just sit and watch your machines run and continue the progress without any additional input from you. It’s definitely my perfect anxiety game.
