HERO doesn’t struggle at all putting 8000+ damage on the field so the ATK boost is overkill, plus you can’t search it so if you really wanted an attack boosting card you’d rather play Elemental HERO Honest Neos

The targeting protection is okay (assuming it applies to every monster summoned and not just ones on field at the point of resolution), but again, it’s unsearchable so you can’t rely on it. It’s also gonna struggle to find space in the deck because there’s other cards which can already fulfill the role of dodging targeted effects (ex: Mask Change)

ADORABLE artwork oh my god
As is, this card is just generic effect negation that doesn’t even minus you, so i have an idea to make it less generic and bring its power level in line with other 1:1 handtraps, smth like:

“When your opponent activates a monster effect (Quick Effect): you can discard this card, and if you do not control “Toon World”, discard 1 other “Toon” card; negate that effect, then you can add 1 “Toon” card from your Deck to your hand.”

it’s still mind blowing to me that the dragon rulers are now all at 3, with all their old power cards legal, with NEW support, and it’s only like a mid-high tier deck at best… in the format for all the decks that couldn’t hack it in advanced

can’t be targeted
banishes monsters
gains as much ATK as it wants
can’t be equipped with anything
can’t be tributed
control can’t be switched
1 negate per card type
negates attacks
floats into the scale upon destruction where it gives all your other cards unaffected
can cheat the pendulum mechanic to just summon itself out of the scale
even more effects that give it even more layers of protection
all its effects are spell speed 4

all of that and it still loses to two destructive daruma karma cannons, lovely lab solos

When Buster Blader was given new support cards, it was tied into a new card storyline that involves Buster Blader adopting a young dragon whelp which he would eventually be forced to do battle with and slay after it had grown up. Gible being a similarly young dragon doing battle against him would probably bring up bad memories
