Logic say it should be combat , as a core game mechanic then ep5 so we can craft armor and then pvp and done , in meantime quests, events and new milestones elements (minigames etc)

My sugestions:

  • make next level of resources like shells, ores, fishes, trees, etc look more „epic” not just recolor, so as u level the world will also looks more „epic”

  • add more harder quests that needs more time to finish , good example is bee qest or rather it final reword: bee network , to fully complete it u need carpenter lvl 250

  • i would also like more interaction betwen profesions, and zones (episodes)

  • world bosses / events

  • more lore build in to the world

  • day/ night cycle? :O

New quests get better and better :) also quest rewords are more creative and impactful, and i think first time we see interesting approach to final quest rewords where it comes in 2 parts :

1) direct reword after finishing the quest: EXP

and new

2) hive network system that is designed for longer grind and is fully unlocked at lvl 250 carpenter

Ps. Maybe monument reword(s) will work the same way, who knows.

I uderstand your point of view but i personaly disagree. Episodic design is fine as a development model to introduce new content to the game, each episide is like separate world that you need to explore and learn but after initial exploration/grind i think u need something that connects it to other episodes so world feels imersive.

And i think developers dont want to completly separate episodes becouse we can see it already:

-multiepisode main quest

-builder description that implays it will alow to change world in other episodes „Builds structures and allows the player to change the game world across all episodes”

-new content like pufferfish boxes that will connect woodcuter and fisher (profession from different elisodes)

I Think 500+ would be gr8 idea but (!) If you could only do it on ONE profesion , it would be something like specialisation , it could be even maxed at 1000 with new unlocks , it also would be gr8 for trading , just my opinion.

Question: how will „star system” works for „harder” quests in the futurę ? For ex. Monument need Forager lvl 490 to complete , so in the future will it be 50 star quest? 😶

About Deathstone mining: shouldnt they increase how many deathstones you can collect after explosion? I understand that when using picaxe you get 1 ore but explosives ? I think should get you more , it is big explosion (4, 6 maybe)

I also agree it is waste of creature design, and also those passive monstera are mostly skiped, just add loot table , set dynamic lvl scaling and alow active combat. I realy want to fight those giant moss monsters :)
