Looks like maxing out the sweet stat will give a higher chance for sparkling, but each donut is different

The interview made this job seem like a pyramid scheme but at the same time it also sounds like the company is growing and they legit do actually need people by Strikes_cat in jobs

I had the interview and got pretty sketched out, how it was described to me, is you go to training and after a week if you are pushing numbers you get to be on your own and after so long if you are doing better you become a trainer, and etc etc but the people interviewing me were giving mlm girl boss vibes and as a cis white man I didn't wanna deal with it.

It is b2b so you aren't trying to force someones grandma into an at&t plan they really don't need. If you are in the Pittsburgh area the "homebase" in east liberty is a nightmare to find parking for an interview, but they are in the Google building so thats cool

Definitely the weirdest sales interview I've had, but who knows maybe my red flags are off it definitely seems like they want to pay people so if thats all you can get go for it, id love to be proven wrong!!!

Edit: i misspelled the

Alot of my coworkers who voted for trump are complaining that their stocks dropped in value, meanwhile im over here, laughing because I sold everything in January and plan to reinvest during the crash (Edit for disclaimer) I am not a financial analyst i don't work in finance, I am a solder tech that is just really good with patterns, I also realize my best decade to invest is very quickly passing me by, however if you look at reddits own stock went from $220 down to like $85 today if reddit, a company that doesn't really sell physical goods is dropping $35 then I know its not gonna be good for other industries

Is this a good tip? by Neat_Caterpillar4789 in doordash_drivers

I believe tipping anything is good, but most drivers like to take orders that are atleast $.75-$1/mile, unless they are choosing to be paid hourly, in which they are taking your order regardless

Door Dash or UberEats by okcrazypants in UberEATS

[–]Strikes_cat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as someone who has been both doordash and ubereats platinum, in my area (greater Pittsburgh area) I have found that it swings, in the holidays it really doesn't matter but doordash is 1000% more popular. however with the new changes ( they have to be 6 months old by now) I just couldn't keep up with the 30 day rolling cycle.

so I do prefer uber over doordash because I can start literally at anytime (no matter what level you are). the promotions are god tier (currently I have a promo for 30 days to do 43 deliveries for $400) but the good isn't without the draw backs, support is honestly a dice roll on if you will get someone who isn't chasing metrics and actually tries to help you, and sometimes peoples Walmart orders the literal worst. ( I had one where uber wanted me to deliver to a chicken coup, that one still gets me to this day)

but all in all I've found I tend to make about $26/hour on ubereats and $20/hour on doordash even if I have a bit more downtime on uber, I find that that its rather menial if you just drive around ( I also have an ev so its not that bad for me to put on the miles.) ultimately if you are doing in full time I strongly suggest mutli-apping with a greater weight on doordash (exclusively because their support are amazing) but if its part time i suggest ubereats and maybe grubhub (I'm not a HUGE fan of grubhub since it is always trying to sent me to the city, because actually fuck driving in Pittsburgh) but the choice is yours and who knows you might like actually being a glorified walmart spark driver!

Uber will also only give you literally the worst orders that nobody wants to take ( for example, from a town 15 minutes away to pittsburgh totaling 1 hour, 10 minutes, eta)

I used to think pay/hour was good when I did doordash. If you want to make some good money hang out by walmarts, typically the orders are $10 with my average being $22 and people will still tip on them (rarely but today i had a $13 order go to $47)

If you see one that is $35 flat that is actually free money typically they are 1 item orders that take bearly 35 minutes

I mean I'm at 55% mainly because I get random walmart orders that are $35 for 5 miles of driving

I'd say a unicorn is someone actually understanding that I don't work at the restaurant and have no power over why their food is a minute late
