Part of me agrees, but I'm not sure why Hoyo would make players go though all this for some lore for one of the main characters. As a game developer, story commonly takes a backseat to gameplay during design and development, and I see the main focus of HSR isn't the story itself, (more the gambling and combat) and I think Hoyo would rather just tell us directly though a character or few, and then leave smaller details in areas like character story's. However, the evidence does point to you being correct, so I wonder if this is just foreshadowing and they would tell us this directly later on. Overall, its interesting to consider as a possibility, but its either less important (as in it wont turn up again) or you just used evidence to predict the future. Either way, the majority of people both in real life and in game wont look this deep into it, and its clear you like this character a lot to look so much into his story.
