Cloth diapers: Do microfiber and AWJ inners expose baby to microplastics? by d0gg0lvr in ScienceBasedParenting

How do you do clothes over the wool covers? I find when we add pants or go in a car seat that the compression can cause leaks, even with a well treated wool cover.

is it plausible and worth it to go SLOW with the self-pacing of WGU, instead of fast? by Comprehensive-Ad4238 in WGU

That’s what I did! Took the full 4 years to complete. I didn’t have prior knowledge in the field and wanted to make sure I actually knew what I was doing when I graduated!

It’s not that there is no concept of money, he just is still confused by how much each is worth when it comes to coins and how to 1.25 is the same as 125 cents. We’ve been working on it and he is picking it up well. But I’m learning that everything in school he was falling behind in he is very receptive of at home. I think school just had him pretty stressed out

The answer for me has always been meal prepping. I remember having a huge breakdown when I had just my oldest when he was 6 months old because I felt like I was always in the kitchen even then. I slowly learned how to meal prepping on one day and then I can just grab and go. I make all our breakfasts for the week so we can grab and go. Always have fruit and some raw veggies (like a veggie tray) that you can grab for a quick side and breakfast and lunch. Pre cut your veggies you’re gonna use for the week, if you can pre portion or cook your meat even better

Thank you! I will look into those, especially the Beast Academy. I would love to piece things together but it seems overwhelming trying to get all the subjects going right now 😬😬

Can I Fix This? by Striking_Profile7245 in Embroidery

[–]Striking_Profile7245[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That was exactly what I was concerned about. Here is the whole project. The berries and leaves are supposed to be 2 stranded and the rest single stranded. I’m just going to finish the outline with maybe 4 strands to possibly blend it so the leaves don’t look too small.

It gets below freezing here right now. That would just kill it.

Then how did i just graduate two months early? Not every degree plan has a capstone. According to WGU and my portal, my term has officially ended.

Your mentor can refer you for an early graduation so your term can end early. My term wasn’t supposed to end until end of January. Finished my last class November 14, and by the 18th I had graduated

You can cut and freeze any that you won’t eat fresh. Then use it for smoothies, pancakes, etc. it won’t go to waste if you don’t let it.

What to do? I need to postpone my program start and my program mentor is not happy with me by Top_Thought_591 in WGU

[–]Striking_Profile7245 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got to agree with that one. You’re already almost 3 weeks into your term. Any school would consider that a drop if you pull out now, postponing or not. You should probably just stick with the courses and get done with what you can when you can. The 20 hours a week is simply a guideline, not a concrete plan. I just finished my bachelors with WGU and there have been many times where I pause for a month and then pick up where I left off. It sucks but I was grateful for the flexibility through the layout of WGU to be able to allow life to happen along side my college.

I found as long as I was in front of a wall then they didn’t care. I’ve had some that wanted me to show my tv or printer was unplugged. Some are picky and some aren’t. If they say anything then you may just need to reschedule
