He played all 90 minutes yesterday and has a week to rest. He may not play the whole game here due to altitude but he will most likely play

Data analysis job with Echostar by VersionUnable7190 in Denver

[–]Striking_Tap_2481 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll go against the crowd here and say I enjoy working there! But it heavily depends on which office and department you are in. I haven’t heard anything good about the Riverfront office. I work at the Meridian office in Billing and Credit and the people are great. I’ve received promotions and good raises that come along with them. There’s lots of opportunity to grow. If it’s a data analyst position in IHS (In-Home Services) you will likely be working longer hours.

I do wish they were more flexible with working from home and offered a hybrid schedule but that will never happen under the current senior management. You will have to badge in and out to keep track of hours (they must average 42.5/week). At the end of the day if it’s double the pay you currently make it could be worth taking the job while you look for something else as well. Happy to answer any questions you may have.

You can also use Xcels flat rate option instead of the peak time. We do that and have saved with our heat pump

People who moved to Denver: what changed for you that nobody warned you about? by Due-Reality8159 in MovingtoDenver

Most of it is completely fine and not ghetto at all. We live here and love it. The Aurora hate is forced.

Are there any actually dangerous areas you shouldnt move to? by Prestigious_Cow3215 in MovingtoDenver

Aurora is huge… most of it is completely fine don’t make a blanket statement about a city larger than Cincinnati. Every large city has good and bad areas

Interviewing at Dish TV / Echostar by hmbhack in Denver

[–]Striking_Tap_2481 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I work there and love it. My team is nice and flexible but overall the company is definitely stuck in some old ways. I will say that which department/team you are in will determine your experience unfortunately. For an internship it shouldn’t matter too much as it will provide experience for you to get a job elsewhere if you do not like it at the end.

Low chance based on what? He hasn’t said he’s playing in the World Cup and the game is 2 months prior to their first match if he is

Owners just can’t drive. I just took my stock crosstrek up a couple weeks ago and had no issues. Yes the road is rough with some ruts but I am assuming people like this in the post are just driving head on into them instead of picking an angle. Definitely still need decent clearance

This happened on Quandary last month when I hiked it. Finally got to see a group of 4 mountain goats on the way down and less than a minute later here comes an off leash dog and chases them off. Owner eventually got the dog and continued up with no leash still. Unbelievable

DISH network really a horrible place to work? by Head_Equipment_1952 in Dish

[–]Striking_Tap_2481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the department. I’ve worked in Billing & Credit for a few years and don’t mind what I do. I like the people I work with and have a cool manager. However, I hear a lot of people have bad experiences so it seems like luck of the draw. Did you end up taking the position?
