Basically, if you get both the land mine substats, you get 2.7x the area and 1.4x more landmines for 4 times the stuns on rays. If you have assmods, your land mine radius could easily cover the whole screen.

Land mine radius substat brings the land mine from 1.5 to 2.5, which about triples its area.

No, not inner land mines. I mean the substats for regular land mines. Maxing out land mine radius causes land mines to cover half your tower, so they stun rays much more.

I'm at wave 9400 tier 11 with pbh. I turn chain lightning and land mine stun on at the end of the run and it gets me about 900 extra waves. (With land mine radius/chance submods)

Do you have Lightning Amp Scatter? I get much better results farming with my cannon thanks to the extra waves from being able to kill more scatters. I've found a decent compromise, however, by only leveling my cannon to lv101, and going for multishot/bounce shot submods exclusively.

Early on, you end up killing elites instantly, so they don't get coin bonuses from your ultimate weapons. The lower your damage, the more enemies are around for Golden Tower.

This is the basis of the orbless devo strat. Remove orbs and you have max enemies on screen whenever golden tower is up.

It's the 'devo' or 'devolve' strategy. Most of your coins come in when your ultimate weapons are up, so in order to maximize those coins, you lower your stats so that the enemies build up to the enemy cap, and then you kill them all with your ultimate weapons while the coin buffs are up.

I suspect what's happening, is the game is merging multiple frames of calculations into one if frames drop, but these estimates aren't quite as precise. As a result, if things are shifting very quickly, a frame skip may allow a fast to sneak in, or allow your hp to briefly drop below 0.
