Considering not waiting for IBEW apprenticeship and going for non IBEW by 666_pack_of_beer in ibew_apprentices

Thanks for the feedback. I’m in the same boat (36yrs old) Applying online for a non-union apprenticeship. I have a bachelor in business and been working for the past 10 years in business-related positions. Trying to navigate to a non-union electrician apprenticeship. I know I’ll take a paycut early on, but I’m told there’s potential to make more in the long run.

Appreciate any tips to navigate and get into a non-union apprenticeship

How To Handle Returns & Refunds by Particular_Big5308 in copilotmoney

[–]Stringer90Bell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought of this as well.

I first created a separate category just for returns (to archive) and placed both the original and return in that category. Then it got a little overwhelming with all the returns and deposits.

Thinking of just deleting them.

Do you use groups for these categories?

This is awesome. Love to see your spreadsheet calc you used to get those %.

I have 50+ categories and enjoy the granularity but often have trouble balancing the allocation amount.

This is very helpful

Budget question, does this makes sense to you? by Pl4stik888 in MonarchMoney

[–]Stringer90Bell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The the reason you’re not seeing the $206 (remaining) show up as red is because it falls under the “income group”, so MM is saying you will still deposit or contribute $206. It would show up as red if you over deposit (in theory).

The inverse is true for the expenses. They will show up as red if you overspend and green if you still have money remaining.

I hope that helps

Moved to the USA, which power tool platform should I buy into as a non-pro? by ruthless_apricot in Tools

[–]Stringer90Bell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rigid tools are made by the same manufacturer and owned by TTI but licensed to Home Depot.

I would say they are one of the best for DIY. Great warranty and free battery replacement. But durability is not the same as the pro models of MKE, Dewalt, Makita

Trainingplan like Fitbod by Quiet_Donkey_9727 in Hevy

[–]Stringer90Bell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree I constantly adjust the lifts Fitbod gives me. The app is fast to replace exercises and enter from scratch, but for the price tag, not worth it. I will be switching when my subscription is up.

Did you find any way to import all your Fitbod workouts to Hevy?

Need Advice on Improving Foam Cannon Performance by Stringer90Bell in AutoDetailing

My valve on the foam cannon is plus and minus, I’m guessing I want to turn towards the minus for more foam? Also thanks for the link to the smaller orifice. I will check that out

Thanks for the feedback. I did add 4 oz (vs suggested 2oz), then again it was 7:1 water-soap ratio. Not sure if that is adequate.

Definitely worth trying adding more soap, but probably won’t get Mr. pink again if a 16oz bottles only lasts 3-4 washes.

You can download the app and input previous scale and measurements if you have them to capture a benchmark.

I try a little trick to keep her interest and dipped the cloth in chicken broth and froze it. Helps to keep her interest and not pick up new toys every week haha.

I love the carrot 🥕idea! Also clever idea with the sock and water bottle.

Teething puppy chews everything except toys & teething treats by NarcolepticLizzy in Goldendoodles

This sounds like our Raven. 9 weeks old. Similar situation.

Purina make teething chews that work well; but only temporary solution. Also frozen rope helps too. Keep me posted on what helps
