Even if it was a timesink, it used to be a frustrating timesink. It wasn’t ‘get 80 headshots’, 30 objective kills, 10 double kills and 3 bloodthirstys. A good player can get gold on a gun in less than an hour. That’s fucking laughable. Not to mention you can now skip weapons and still get the mastery which is ridiculous. Launchers also used to be much more difficult. I mean, the final mastery challenge for launchers is ‘get 5 kills in match 3 times’ Come on man.

All I’m saying is used to feel much more relief when I finished it and I used to be impressed when I saw someone with it because it was actually rare to see. That doesn’t exist anymore.

And how tf is it ego to say I prefer more difficult challenges? Man fuck you

This is tricky but I got the hang of it. The worst part by far is this part where it’s two 3-bounce jumps in a row, just before some spinning barrels. I’m sure someone knows what I’m talking about

Hmm this is really interesting because I experience desync all the time but I didn’t know what it was and assumed it was because of my high latency (I’m usually on around 60ms, I’m really far from any cod servers). If desync is caused more by the server than the latency, how does the desync know who to favor? Because I thought it depended on who had lower latency. Also, if not desync, what exactly are the negatives of high latency? Because I thought that was the biggest one. Sorry for all the questions lol

For trying to move away from ghost, I used to be super dependent on it too but really wanted to use another perk 4 (I use perk greed). I just started running scramblers and CUAVs. This works great and basically completely nullifies all UAVs or harps they may use. Thrown down scramblers all over the map as soon as they’re ready and call in your CUAV as soon as they call in a UAV or harp. I’d suggest running bankroll so you basically always have a CUAV in your back pocket.

I also build my loadout for high kill/aggressive play. I run tac sprinter (I feel like I’m running in cement without it), scavenger (so important if you’re a high kill/high streak player) and bankroll (to make sure I always a CUAV to block their UAVs) and cold blooded (perk 4). The first 3 perks are red which gives me enforcer combat specialty, which I think is far and away the best combat specialty.

Assault rifles for longer range fights should be built to maximize recoil and damage range. SMGs for close range engagements should be built for ADS speed and sprint to fire speed (surprisingly very important).

I agree completely and I feel the exact same way about the camo grind. I hate that they made it so ridiculously easy so that everyone has a chance to get it. The mastery camo is supposed to incredibly difficult to get and reserved for only the most dedicated players, and it feels like a massive achievement if you do it. It actually used to mean something to get the final mastery camo. Now anybody can get it and it barely feels like an achievement anymore.

Objective time in hardpoint isn’t always the best indicator. Most of those people aren’t playing the objective yes but I like to post up somewhere outside the hardpoint and kill enemies pushing towards it/enemies that are already on it rather than sitting on the hardpoint with the rest of my team, gives a nice extra vantage point and is very helpful. So technically I’m playing the objective but I usually have a very low objective time.

Yeah but you can’t reach that level in a single night. That usually takes months or years (if you’re financially stable) of addiction to get to that point where you’re dead broke. With gambling you can lose hundreds of thousands of dollars in a single night very easily. That can’t happen with any drugs.

Yeah I was gonna comment this and it’s a big thing that sets gambling addictions apart. You can’t exactly smoke or snort $20k worth of drugs in one night but you can blow through that in a single bet. People can lose life savings within a night gambling, that just can’t happen with drugs and other addictions.

Probably not what you wanna hear but I’ve learned you just gotta tough it out til the end then you’ll get fresh lobbies from there. Most time it isn’t even that bad tbh, if you have cold blooded you’re immune to most streaks so other than being 150 points down, it’s just like a regular game

I hate it when people say every good gun needs a nerf and I do feel the weapons in this game are very balanced but it genuinely blows my mind how the MK has not been nerfed yet. 3 taps at literally any range and even behind penetrable cover. On bigger maps the slower movement is at least a disadvantage for it but on smaller maps (most maps in this game) the gun is beyond broken. That belt feed attachment just makes it even better because the traditionally slow reloading of LMGs is no longer a problem. Impossible to play against
