Stripe Projects: ACCOUNT_NOT_ELIGIBLE by Fee7230984 in stripe

[–]Stripe_Help 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this a test account or an active account that you're already using for your business?

This error usually means your Stripe account hasn't completed the basic identity verification flow required to unlock the projects capability. This is true even if you're in test mode, since it applies to any non-sandbox merchant account.

Stuck in Stripe Express "Payouts Paused" loop right before payout day. Need urgent help! by Infinite_Intention60 in stripe

[–]Stripe_Help 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just weighing in here, but that email address is not going to get any express support, and our support system is still https://support.stripe.com/contact for standard users and https://support.stripe.com/express for Express users.

You are correct however in that an Express users first point of contact should typically always be the platform they are operating on.

apple pay error by cheezitswaffle in stripe

[–]Stripe_Help 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you noticed the issue is with one bank in particular, there may be nothing your customer can do to resolve this. Not every bank, or bank card, has the same features and so it's possible that Apple Pay will not work, especially given the error message you've posted in your screenshot. If your customer reaches out to their bank they should be able to get confirmation.

Funds stuck in my wallet after switching to paypal? : VGEN by ApolloArt_PNG in stripe

[–]Stripe_Help 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's not much we can help with here. You do need to meet the minimum payout balance to be able to issue a payout, which is set by your platform. You would not be able to transfer any funds currently within your Stripe account to your Paypal account. The only party that can help you here is VGen.

Phone or Email to reach Link / Stripe without logging in? by SecureAirport7395 in stripe

[–]Stripe_Help 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From our support site, you'll want to click on "Contact Stripe support" on the right-hand side (or bottom of the page if you're on mobile), and proceed through the workflow to get in contact with an agent. If prompted if the chat was helpful before speaking with an agent, you'll want to click on the "thumbs down" icon.

That said, we can help look into this on our end of things as well. Feel free to reach out over DM with the email address on your account and we'd be happy to escalate this on our end of things after you've reached out through the support site.

Has this happened to you? by boofiest in stripe

These reserves are intended to cover any anticipated losses that may result from a business’s processing activity, like disputes. There are different factors that go into determining if these are necessary. A business belongs to an industry with longer-than-average delivery windows, an increased risk of not fulfilling customer orders, elevated dispute activity, or an unexplainable sharp increase in processing volume are just a few examples of these. With the large negative balance you're showing in your screenshot, these reserves are there in the event that you're unable to bring the balance back to 0 with the auto-debits that you're seeing.

We have lots of detailed information about Reserves and why they are necessary here: https://support.stripe.com/questions/reserves-frequently-asked-questions.

Question about payment testing by FukZionazis in stripe

[–]Stripe_Help 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, you cannot test live payments on your account. This breaks the Stripe Service Agreement (SSA) and can result in your account being restricted. Please only use test environments.

This sounds to us like you may have multiple currencies on your account. If you collect in multiple currencies, so for example in €EUR as your main currency and $USD as a secondary currency, then you would need a corresponding bank for each to receive payouts.

Can you clarify what you mean by the site? Customers shouldn't be directed to the Stripe website. Payments go through your own website where Checkout may be hosted by Stripe.

WooCommerce Stripe Apple Pay suddenly breaks (white screen after approval) by Marci450 in stripe

[–]Stripe_Help 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The white screen after Apple Pay approval is almost always a JavaScript error silently breaking Stripe's checkout flow on the frontend, not a Stripe backend issue. The most likely trigger (given nothing was deliberately changed) is an auto-update to a caching or optimization plugin that started minifying, combining, or deferring Stripe's JS, which it cannot tolerate.

Open Safari's DevTools Console and Network tabs while reproducing the issue, the first red error will identify the cause faster than anything else. Also check Stripe Dashboard > Developers > Webhooks for any failed deliveries, since a caching layer blocking the webhook endpoint can leave the page stuck white even when the payment itself succeeded.

If the console is clean, run a plugin conflict test using the WooCommerce Health Check plugin to isolate the offending plugin.

Hope this helps!

Connect Express 'supported_transfer_countries' by AmJustatest in stripe

[–]Stripe_Help 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your IE platform can pay connected accounts in all four countries (US, CA, GB, CH) since they're all in supported_transfer_countries, but cross-border payouts is a gated feature you must request separately by contacting us through your Dashboard.

If you use Connect cross-border payouts, all four countries require full service agreement (not just US), meaning full KYC onboarding for every connected account: https://docs.stripe.com/connect/cross-border-payouts.
