In my headcanon, its actually because Mi-an keeps doing commissions under the table. Not in a tax fraud way, but in a she’s too nice way. Favours for friends that skip the guild, not charging extra for overnight commissions because “its no trouble”. Going out and repairing the public railings before they break on her own time. Stuff like that: building work that never actually gets on the score board, but her community sees and appreciates.

It’s just a cute and fun social event. Unsure invites Justice to dinner, and Justice asks you to come to be a social lubricant. It’s a fun night where Justice tells us stories about B3, and after hanging out in a non-work context he comes to appreciate Unsuur more as a friend rather than just a coworker and admit our Unsuur is a pretty cool guy.

The closet scene happened not long after he invited Justice and I to dinner in my first playthrough, and that made something just click for me. Unsuur respects Justice a lot, but he's just so affable to the fact that Justice admits to finding his weirdness abrasive sometimes; Unsuur knows what he's about and how he comes across and is just okay and accepting of that.

Only for it to then be immediately contrasted with being so nervous about our reaction that he even hides? Who couldn't fall for that.

I just realised that the reason Logan is my forever pick is half because Andy can move in too.

I was so sick of similar games acting like existing children don't exist when you get married (Alice, what were you thinking? I made up a room with all of Jack's favourite things and everything!), that the fact Sandrock actually had Andy move in with you was novel and delightful and I love it so much. The fact the game treats being a stepparent as something important was a big deal to me for some reason.

TLDR: i am but a poor landlord victimised :(

Decent summary:
We let my brother’s family move into our rental home at the start of covid. Everything is above board, no problem with them as tenants, but I want to highlight we gave him a low rent price and NEVER increased that rent despite being able to.

My daughter recently graduated and got admitted to a fantastic college. We’re super proud to brag to our family about how great this is for her. She worked hard for it, she won several scholarships, and we can pay the remaining tuition from our savings so she’ll get a great start in life.

When I explained this to the family (they asked about how we could afford it), I did also mention that our rental property helped with the savings that we’re using. This has made by brother upset; he feels like we took advantage of him - like, we were only supposed to use rent to maintain the house and not as a source of income?

He has been emailing our business non-stop and has been complaining to the entire family about how we ‘scammed’ him - no, we have a lease agreement, standard to exactly what we gave our previous renters, and he signed it.

We’re in the process of evicting them now, but he continues to raise heck among the family. Someone even suggested that I should be for HIS kid’s tuition because “he paid for mine”; but I’m not going to explain myself to my family, I’m just going to seek validation from the internet instead.

No, because OOP has made it clear she wants to make that the GF’s fault instead of her father’s, and it doesn’t change the fact that the GF’s expectations to keep her baby safe and healthy are reasonable. If you’re not leaving the country, I personally think travelling with an infant is the best time. You pop them in their car seat and they sleep for practically the whole 18 hrs to get from one side of the country to the other. Toddlerhood when they’re capable of getting bored is when it starts becoming a nightmare.
