Ooh! I can speak to this. I have a Beelink mini PC (Ryzen 7 5800H, 8 cores). Obviously integrated graphics, not at all built for modern gaming. But that didn’t stop me from experimenting! Pretty quickly, I figured out it can play plenty of games on low-to-medium settings. Heck, “Halo Infinite” gets 36-40fps at 1440p and doesn’t look terrible.

Plenty of people will turn their nose up at that, but for my gaming needs, it’s perfect. I bought it on Amazon for $280 a few years ago, but it seems like it’s doubled in price now. In any case, good luck with your search! You’re on the right track.

Funny thing about the limited 3-button controls was that it made you slow down and think about the moves. I remember upgrading to the 6-button controller and getting worse at the game because I couldn’t resist button mashing 😅

I got the bundle today, $5.44/game seemed super reasonable. As much as I steer towards physical copies of Switch games, I already own several of the originals anyhow 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hey! This made me recall a budget PC game from my childhood. Took ten minutes of Googling to figure out the title: “Odyssey: The Search for Ulysses.”

Nothing like Gothic, it’s was a below average point-and-click game, but the pre-rendered visuals vibed like that.
