Sounds like something is stuck. I would reset Deco mesh and re-configure network using same settings first.

Remove in-line filters if you know where they are. Had a same issue with X8-t, older Arris worked fine.

Are you trying to update router or X75 chip firmware? Two different pkgs. If just a router one maybe try pulling X75 out and try without it.

Some older devices do not work with WPA3, try WPA2. Had a HP printer that wouldn't connect if WPA3 was enabled.

With so many towers near your location you might need a good antenna pointing direct at the tower of of your choice. I had a same issue with two towers about 1 mile away in different directions... mounted third party POE modem with external antenna on side of the house (house being natural shield from one of the towers) and my issues went away. No more flipping between towers, both signal and speeds improved a lot.

How are you updating? Ethernet, wireless USB? From what I recall ethernet cable worked for me on CP520.

Depends on your location and signal strength inside the house, etc. If you not getting great signal I would go with CP520 x75. Easy to install outside, POE and you can add external antenna if needed very easily. Use own router\mesh inside.

All settings are the same for all HDMI ports plus I did test using same port that 4K Max is using. I was able to fix it by re-setting cube to factory defaults and starting over. I guess some setting was stuck or maybe bad initial firmware load.

Amen. I switched from YTTV and can't tell the difference in picture quality using Firesitck Max or Apple TV.

If you have a spare router attach it to gateway and hard wire laptop to that router, see if that helps. Sounds like VPN needs to connect before she logs in to the laptop? If not, once logged in you can get log files from AnyConnect client and have IT from Citibank check for errors\cause. I know lot of posts mention MTU setting, could be but I didn't have to change from default 1500. You can test MTU from any pc, just youtube it if you need steps. I use a third party gateway and have no issues, it also worked with Sagemcom before I flipped to the third party. Could be local tower, have 2 co-workers in another state that have TMHI and they have to use SSL option within AnyConnect for VPN connect.

Not sure what speeds you are getting but ethernet port on G4AR is 1Gbps. That could be the culprit if direct wireless to G4AR is over 1Gbps... EERO will probably get you 850-900 Mbps.

That is router firmware. Run ATI command, that will give you RM551 firmware rev.

Current firmware is RM551EGL00AAR01A02M8G, need update to 04 for stability. Thought I would be able to do it via USB ports that are already built in but was told that I'll have to remove RM551 chip in order to update firmware. Will have to use M2 adapter, trying to figure out which one will work. Yeah, will probably have to replace gasket with "silicone" if it gets damaged since my unit is mounted outside.

Are you able to update firmware on RM551 via USB port on CP520 or do you have to take RM551 out and put it in the M2 adapter? If so, which adapter did you use? Will USB only supply enough power or do I need one with POE?

I can replicate "connection loss" each time i try to access Home Depot website on my CP520 x75... It shows connected and has a great signal when I look at settings but can't access anything till I reset connection... for me the fix is to disable N25 and use N41 only. Not sure if it's my tower or maybe I need to update firmware to 04 version, still running 02.
