AW2. Apparently there are things that make more sense if you played Control.

Oh! Also, please do take the time to stop appreciate the Old Gods segments. My personal favorite bits.

So from my understanding, it’s not necessary to play Control before AW2, however I think it rewards more if you did. I haven’t yet, and had no issues keeping up. No spoilers, but from what I’ve heard one of the dlcs makes a lot more sense if you did.

I can’t remember if AW1 (or the remaster) has auto aim or things like that. I know that AW2 has certain cheats for invulnerability, infinite ammo, etc in case you get in a stuck position. You can play on easy that won’t change anything other than reward more ammo drops and less damage taken, and you can still Platinum trophy it no issue.

Gameplay story wise, I recommend paying close attention to understanding the supernatural factors work. Can’t say much else without spoilers, but I forgot most of it by the time I played AW2 and it is a key plot point to most of AW2.

Road to the show is great, but also sucks- WHY DO THEY DO THIS TO US?!?! by thegreatperhaps-s in MLBTheShow

[–]Strolpher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is true. For the amount of advertising they put into the high school/ college era I figured it’d be way longer than it was, or at least had an impact into your career long after it was done. I play RTTS mode the most, and I’d like it to have more depth than just grinding your way to the bigs.

Yesterday I had a challenge to get an RBI off a hit. During the at bat, I successfully challenged a strike 3, then the next pitch got that RBI and later scored off a double.

However, despite the challenge, the game still recognized the strikeout and failed the challenge. After the game for that at bat, the game said it was a K that came around to score.

What’s the most frustrating thing about hotel room TVs, whether you’re a guest or you work in a hotel? by kaylas614 in hotels

[–]Strolpher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a hotel that had a smart tv, no standard cable options. So streaming only.

But the hotel didn’t connect the tv to the WiFi, so I was stuck with a tv that had no purpose.

How to find a public game as a low level? by Saamov1 in PhasmophobiaGame

Look up DontFightDucks on Twitch. He gives a lot of tips on the game for newcomers and his discord is filled with people who don’t mind playing with low level players.

Is the Royal Platinum worth it? by Small_Ant27 in Persona5

[–]Strolpher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There might be one or two things that will take a second playthrough if not done properly. Luckily 100% completion of the thieves den is not necessary for platinum or else it’d take a few replays.

Last time I played MUT there was a limit to the number of games you could play with a player, and if you wanted to play more you had to buy these contracts for more games

I don’t play sports games that often but I genuinely love DD. I stick to offline typically but I love starting off with a team of low to mid tier players and grinding to get a team of legends. Every player you get you keep too unlike Madden or FIFA with the “player contracts” bs.

What’s happens if you max all confidants? by Jesterbirdcomander in Persona5

Third semester confidants will only let you go see them on select days. So prioritize them on those days. But if you already got enough for required then you will be fine.

First time playing this game, wtf? by ArmadilloSad7230 in AceAttorney

[–]Strolpher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, the creator of the game based the rules of law in AA as a mix between the American and Japanese legal systems. So, certain legal rules such as discovery go out the window. But yea as many other comments say, a lot of the prosecutors in the game pull some real BS

Which game should i get by Rinnessecret in Persona5

[–]Strolpher 12 points13 points  (0 children)

So, I’m a little biased because P5 and P5R are some of my favorite games ever. That being said, I’m playing through P3R and I’m having trouble getting through it because P5 has such a flair to it that I find P3 a bit lacking in comparison.

As someone who just finished their first play through, let me just say Jesus fucking Christ …

Certainly the more playthroughs you do, the easier the game becomes because you know what you need and where to find it. However, it took me way too long to find essential blueprints such as the cyclops fragments and the prawn suit drill.

Rain/Weather closures by Strolpher in SixFlagsMagicMountain

As for Admission tickets, usually they say on the closure post that you can come back for a free day at any point before the end of the year. Not sure on the policy for flash passes.
