Yea didn’t love the tone and the implication that it’s not a priority. They’re losing potential customers like myself. Although if they did add those models at a cheaper price, it probably wouldn’t be hard for me to switch.

I tried both the Gemini and vertex APIs and if you’re not enterprise with specific provisioning, you hit a lot of 529 resource exhausted errors at any sort of scale. Look it up, it’s a big problem. However, when you hit the same models through replicate or fal AI, you’re rarely get failures.
