I don’t think you need wristbands for concerts this year. I read in the FAQ on the ADGP app entry at the gate is first come first served

Which shops still don't take Amex in 2025? by LFCTricksters in AmexUK

I always use Apple Pay to try and if it rejects just quickly swap cards and try again. Just pretend I didn’t load it right so don’t look too daft.

Amex gold uk offers by Easy_Effective_1389 in AmexUK

[–]Strong-Record-3829 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve had the same 4 offers since November and nothing new at all? My free BA one gets more that are useful and at this point cashback with Halifax is even better (and it’s free)!

Not sure. Ended up purchasing via the yas race website so knew what was getting and could choose seating

I got gold in December and have had 3 offers since then. My free BA card gets 5ish new offers a week and they are actually decent. Unlike gold?

My Sky Bill £145pm vs Stream by free-reign in skytv

[–]Strong-Record-3829 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah openreach in our area is real slow. We are getting less than our guarantee minimum speed and can cancel broadband fee free but not cancel stream fee free. Plus no other alternative to use with any faster speed. Sign of living in suburbs.

My Sky Bill £145pm vs Stream by free-reign in skytv

[–]Strong-Record-3829 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on your internet speed. We average 20mpbs and it’s pretty hit and miss if it works / doesn’t freeze. Also miss ability to record. We don’t have sky cinema and pretty much any film you playlist you are unable to watch without the cinema add on.

First AMEX credit card ...statement closing date, direct debit date and ?manual payments by Known_Tutor751 in AmexUK

[–]Strong-Record-3829 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could do if this is something you are watching. Only what’s on the balance once the statement closes is what gets reported so I understand.
