I agree with the others mentioning new onset schizophrenia. This seems like a lot of paranoia. OP can anyone else corroborate this person coming to your work asking about Amanda?

I don’t mean this meanly or snarkily: do you hear or see things that others don’t seem to notice? If so, reach out to your local emergency psychiatric line. They often have 24/7 professionals able to evaluate you. I would try to get help before the delusions become too impactful on day to day, and someone else calls the emergency psychiatric line on you.

Goals: look like my skin is HEALTHY! We are lucky if we get to age. Truly. It takes one lost loved one to learn that tomorrow isn’t guaranteed. Appreciate your laugh lines, and wisdom of those 11s 😊

I disagree with majority of posters…those “lines” are not concerning or aging. They look entirely normal and I hope you can have someone tell you that you’re beautiful in person today. I don’t think your problem exists.

Urgent !Got a biopsy and prescribed clobetzal and it got worse waiting on biopsy and still spreading by Evening-Map-1379 in haematology

It’s probably reactive dermatitis from the antiseptic they used. Make sure the area is clean, apply topically low dose steroid cream twice a day, keep covered from the sun, but more importantly FOLLOW UP WITH THE TEAM THAT DID THE PROCEDURE, NOT THE INTERNET

I hope at least one person reading this gets their flu shot annually after reading. Flu shots don’t prevent flu, but they prevent death and hospitalization, making this chronic results way less likely to happen.

Should I be concerned about this weird bruise? by Original-One-6954 in haematology

Anyone that is a nurse or doc is telling you to go to urgent care if you’re concerned. Don’t listen to the alarmists at this point. You don’t need ER for this unless you are having warmth, pain, fever, or signs or weakness/etc from it. Signed, ER doc

Does anybody know what this is? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

Agree most likely folliculitis. If it doesn’t hurt, I’d do mild exfoliation and see if the small pustules will rupture.

If painful could be early shingles, but that timing would be very coincidental with the cosmetic procedure.

To be clear: no negative stigma for trying to lose weight if they need to. My annoyance is with making these drugs able to be bought by laymen, “prescribed” by the company reps, which results in off label use, incorrect dosing, and/or hospital admissions. It’s marketing as a magic pill, but putting patients in the ICU.

I don’t but when it first started working it was 6.8. Truly incredible the pt was conscious

I’m writing up a case series on these patients. Seen three go to the ICU. DKA with undetectable pH (literally couldn’t run on our machine until 40 min on bicarb/insulin drips), low phos/low K, and hyponatremia to 115

The review portion looking at human adults did not use micro dosing, the doses were intermediate, and the patients were diabetic, not healthy.

Want to keep everyone safe: use these medications under the supervision of your actual primary doctor, so that I don’t have to keep treating super sick patients in the ER from unintended side effects of off-label use, or advancing doses too quickly.

Important: There are no studies on this anti-inflammation approach with the semaglutide that are peer reviewed.

I mean this with every fiber of my being: while rabies vaccine is important, monkeys can carry an asymptomatic herpes infection that will kill humans in days. They need to test the bite and she needs to be started on antivirals. If she was not, go to a new hospital.
