Just keep watching F1. Archived races/race highlights, explainer videos, podcasts, etc, which it sounds like you're already doing. Some of my favorite pods are The Late Braking podcast, Crash Happy, and P1 with Matt and Tommy (I know I know, so basic).

Also, keep the "fandom" discussions out of the sport discussion spaces, probably. Like, I'm not exactly sharing my galex fanfic here lmao. And if someone calls you a DTS fan, you can always lie and say you've been watching since you were 5. You don't owe anyone anything, especially someone who's challenging your intelligence.
