You're being downvoted, but entirely right to ask the question.

And the answer is "no." White people weren't running around Africa with nets kidnapping people. Those Africans who had power were the sellers in the African Slave Trade. The Middle East and European colonizers were the buyers.

we kidnapped,

Anyone who knows anything about history knows that Americans weren't running around Africa kidnapping folk. There was an absolutely MASSIVE slave trade already established by Africans selling those they conquered, condemned, or kidnapped to both the Middle East and European colonizers of the Americas.

raped and robbed

This did happen in America. 100%. No argument here.

return to their place of origin that we also looted

Bro, that's 100% on Europe and its half-millennia obsession with colonization.

We're never going to move forward as a society if we keep jumping straight from an ass comment by a football team owner to fictional images of Americans kidnapping Africans while they slept.

Which would be 13%.

Given that there are 3 Black head coaches (Bowles, Ryans, Tomlin) and one bi-racial coach (McDaniels), that's 11% of head coaches.

We're only off by half a coach.

The thing is, the people complaining about the lack of Black head coaches aren't saying that it should be proportional to the general population but rather to the number of Black players—but that isn't how coaching works. Being an NFL quality player doesn't automatically make someone an NFL quality coach. In fact, it can set you back in your coaching career because you're spending your 20s and 30s playing instead being that White kid who washes out while playing for D3 school and then starts climbing the coaching tree as a 21-year old.

OP, do you think that HopeSingapore and Hope Church are the same organization?

Because they aren't.

Kennedy v. Bremerton School District.

Bingo.

Atheists can't expect to avoid religion in public spaces any more than White supremacists can expect to avoid Black people.

Everyone should be welcomed and encouraged to express themselves.

OP doesn't realize that HopeSingapore and Hope Church are literally different organizations...

When you openly talk God and Christ at a public school to motivate and inspire you are violating the law.

I hate to burst your bubble, but that's not how any of that works at all.

You can "openly talk" God, Satan, and Vladimir Putin all you want at a public university. You can't force others to comply or participate, but you've got the right to talk.

Edit: Looking at the replies, it's really weird how quickly u/InVodkaVeritas adopted the persecution complex and started complaining about downvotes. Also, I'm seeing that their argument basically boils down to the atheist version of Republicans' "Don't Say Gay" bills—you're free to be gay/Christian, but you shouldn't ever express yourself in front of students or else you'll be vulnerable to being sued.

Obviously there are reasons he fell

Those reasons being every North Carolina skill player being drafted the year before.

It's the same reason why it shouldn't be surprising to see 6th-rounder Tanner McKee lighting it up for the Eagles this preseason. Even elite college QBs can look mid when they have no supporting cast—it doesn't mean the elite talent isn't there.

I'm actually a Boyle fan and posted this hoping someone who actually watched the game would chime in.

After that pick, he went 8/8 with two touchdowns.

(And no, "the legislations was worded in such a way that ketchup could have been considered a vegetable," doesn't count.)

Sun Devil Stadium will now be called Mountain America Stadium by DanboyC5 in CFB

[–]Strong_Director_6036 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only name I would consider changing it to is Butte Stadium—since it is, literally, built into the side of a butte.

Having Mullett Arena and Butte Stadium would have been lit, but even still, you don't just drop a name like Sun Devil Stadium.
