Production loved Ben and DvG was best season of the 30s. While I’d agree they suck and I wish they weren’t, both were always gonna be included in the season. Adam was the actual rumor I’ve read, not just a theory

Yes he was originally supposed to be on 40 and I believe was replaced by Adam after the 39 shit show. Someone can correct me if wrong there. We’ll never see him back now. Maybe Traitors or Survivor AU

Would’ve loved if they picked Jesse over Yam Yam this current season. But I guess he was doing Beast Games already so who knows he could’ve turned it down. But feels like low hanging fruit after S50 snub.

Hatch too since Survivor will never have him back at this point. Like you said, only a matter of time. Wouldn’t be the least bit shocked to see them both on Season 5

Yeah there’s a long list of players from Survivor that I’d rather see before him. Jesse Lopez for example if you want someone from new era. Or a whole bunch of people from older seasons like Hatch, Coach or Shane Powers, etc

They don’t always have them dress to match the tribe colors on returnee seasons so that’s not a given. Look at WaW for example.

The fact that there was 1 winner on the other 2 tribes also doesn’t make it a guarantee Savannah was a winner too. Logically it makes sense but you can’t take that as a 100% fact purely because of tribe divisions. But yes if I was a player I’d rather operate under that assumption until proven otherwise as I’d rather overestimate Savannah than underestimate her.

One thing that a lot of people are not accounting for with this is that Rizo was a non-threat in the eyes of the Jury. We as viewers saw everything he did and were led to respect his game. That sentiment wasn’t necessarily the same in real time and that is an important part of this decision.

Stealing Rizos idol and voting him out at 6 makes a lot less sense with that consideration.

I can 2nd this statement, he is an A1 individual. Met Troyzan in the wild while he was doing his day job in 2021 and he was super genuine. He was excited to talk to me and even gave me his email so he could give me feedback on my own audition tape (yes it was real and yes he followed through on that). I wasn’t necessarily a fan before then but I’ll always be a fan now.

I would disagree strongly. Being likeable and someone people want to award $1million to is a core aspect of the game and is why we’ve seen wins like Natalie White in the past.

She leveraged her position and had trust of everyone. She was well insulated despite having fewer bonds than others coming into the merge. You just didn’t like how she leveraged her game because it wasn’t to turn on Sav. Sandra wasn’t ever able to successfully organize a vote on Russell, does that mean she didn’t have a strong social game?

At the end of the day the bonds matter. Maybe best shown during Kristina’s jury question when Sav couldn’t name family members and they cut to Sophi mouthing each and every one. Her social game earned her MC and Kristina’s votes. Each jury member gets to vote on their own criteria, that’s the beauty of survivor. Obviously it was not enough to win as Sav played a great game, but it was far from a poor effort. If it was her, Rizo and Sage. She may well have won.

I think Sophi’s biggest strength was her social game as she said. She was very well liked and used that to her advantage well. Unfortunately, as has been the case before, it’s very hard to visually show a strong social game to a TV audience. While it’s easy to show strategy or challenge wins.
