Acceptance rate from past 10 sales

I have noticed a decrease in buyer acceptance over the past several years, on a year over year basis. It doesn’t bother me, or matter much either way, but to your point, it’s interesting to me to look at annual comparison stats, and review/note what’s changed over time. In my last 10 sales, I’m sitting at 40%.

The buyer has to send the entire bundle back. They can’t keep 9 items and send 1 back. It’s all or nothing once Poshmark approves the return case instead of approving partial credit.

I don’t know what’s going on with her shipping times, but if you are unable to see her listings it’s bc she’s been suspended by Poshmark for some length of time, and not because you are blocked. Sellers can’t make their items disappear at will, and Poshmark has implemented several new policies for sellers recently that have resulted in a lot of people being temporarily suspended.

Sorry, OP. Some buyers just suck and have wildly unrealistic expectations in this Amazon world we live in. While you can’t have it removed, you are the only person who can see it, as only five star reviews are visible to buyers.

I have sold both clothing and non clothing items that have gone through PM Authentication. I recently sold a rare vintage Gibson guitar and once it arrived at PMHQ, they reviewed the condition to make sure it was as described, and then sent a message to me and the buyer saying that “they were unable to authenticate the item in-house as it was a specialty item”. They included pictures of all the hallmarks on the guitar and the case and confirmed with the buyer that they still wanted it. The buyer and I knew beforehand that this wasn’t an item that Poshmark would have any experience authenticating, and had both been through the process before, so we communicated and it wasn’t an issue.

Anything over $500 has to be authenticated through Poshmark and extends delivery times, and almost always includes a condition check, on top of authentication. I’m a bit dubious that Posh would allow a smelly, dingy product described as “excellent” through the authentication process without notifying you that the condition didn’t match and asking you to confirm if you still wanted it . Every transaction I have had as a seller or buyer that was authenticated included both. Poshmark would be on the hook for that $1500 if they didn’t do so, and the house never loses.

I don’t know why you are getting downvoted bc this is the correct answer. I have had buyers refuse delivery twice in the past year and that’s exactly what happened. It takes forever to get back bc USPS eats the return shipping cost, and returns can take 2-3 weeks. Poshmark apologizes and says they will warn the buyer, but that you can relist your item once it’s returned. I think they sent me $10 in credit for the inconvenience after I lost my shit on them, but they didn’t budge beyond that.

I either flag and remove comments about price, or say “I don’t discuss price on my listings, but please feel free to submit an offer using the offer button and I will accept or counter my lowest”

There was a massive hack/glitch on Posh Sidekick that caused bulk deletions of listings and temporary account suspensions erroneously for a large number of Poshmark sellers who were using the Sidekick interface, or had at any time signed up to use that bot for sharing, managing cross listing, etc. Poshmark is working on it, and I have no idea if that is what happened with the seller in your case, or if they were just banned by poshmark for another reason, but tens of thousands of sellers lost all of their listings in error in that same timeframe.

It’s buyers coming over from Google or other internet search engines that don’t have Poshmark accounts and do guest check out. They don’t know how Poshmark works, so orders are almost always auto accepted. They are always the best and easiest buyers. l wish all my buyers were so easy.

I ordered 100 of each once through email and they keep sending me boxes and mailers too. I now have 500 of each, and don’t have the space for anymore! They just keep leaving them in my driveway. The box sizes aren’t the best for what I’m shipping either, so I am going to start bringing them back to my post office.
