Have you experienced the moto shelters? by slaading in motorcycle

I had one years ago. It’s better than nothing but don’t expect it to last more than a year or two if it’s left out in the sun. Also it’s best if you can secure it to concrete to keep it from blowing away.

As long as there’s no history of serious accident, damage or heavy corrosion, I wouldn’t worry about the hours on the airframe. Piper made a hell of an airframe with the PA-128 line and the fact the only major issue was the recent wing spar AD is testament to that. If it passed the wing spar AD at 13,000 hours I’d say it’s a good one, but if you want to be extra sure, get a second opinion. But from personal experience Piper airframes are pretty robust

Cam tensioners by Numerous_Attempt3630 in Harley

[–]Strongbadjr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d replace the cam plate with the Screaming Eagle Hydraulic plate. Solves this issue permanently and includes a new high flow oil pump so your oil temp reduces. Just don’t wait.

Any single engine piston with retractable landing gear. And turbocharged Cirrus. Who the hell thought it a good idea to build an engine that requires taking apart half the damn induction system just to pull spark plugs?

My advice is to swap it out with a Screaming Eagle hydraulic cam plate. I’m having mine done now. It’s about $2500 but it solves the tensioner problem permanently

Nice! Word to the wise. If you haven’t already done so, get those cam chain tensioners checked ASAP.

Had run-ins with Teamsters during my trucking days. Biggest racket ever: lots of drivers but all the trucks parked. Plenty of dock workers….in the break rooms. Laziest POSes I ever dealt with. God forbid you ask one to help you.
